It's a bit of she said/she said.

In the groundbreaking Vanity Fair article where Caitlyn Jenner made her first public appearance, Kris Jenner in quoted -- and didn't exactly hold back.
Kris asked Caitlyn during the interview, "Why would you want to be married and have kids if this is what you wanted since you were a little boy? Why would you not explain this all to me?"
In the interview, Kris continued to refer to Caitlyn as "he." Although, in her defense, she was referencing her marriage when Caitlyn was then living as Bruce.
"He was married to me and he wasn't who he wanted to be, so he was miserable," she continued. "At the end of my relationship with Bruce, he definitely had a lot of social anxiety…that was one of the reasons we were in a struggle at the end."
Kris said that her divorce felt like "the most passive-aggressive thing I think I've ever experienced." It was like her husband "just decided, 'I'm done,'" she said.

Caitlyn, however, took exception to some of Kris' comments, saying the divorce actually had little to do with gender. "Twenty percent was gender and 80 percent was the way I was treated," Caitlyn said.
"The first 15 years I felt [Kris] needed me more because I was the breadwinner," Caitlyn continued. "Then, really around [the time of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians"], when that hit and she was running the whole show and getting credit for it and she had her own money, she didn't need me as much from that standpoint.
"I think in a lot of ways she became less tolerant of me. A lot of times she wasn't very nice. People would see how I got mistreated. She controlled the money, all that kind of stuff."
Caitlyn also claims that Kris isn't as in the dark as she's insisting. Caitlyn says that Kris knew then-Bruce was taking female hormones when they met. On a recent E! special Kris even told Caitlyn, "I always knew that you struggled with wanting to dress differently and dress as a female and that was something you did whenever you got that urge. That's just what the only thing I experienced with you."
According to Caitlyn, this isn't entirely true. Kris, she said, witnessed her wearing women's clothing while she was still living as Bruce. They even established a rule that her husband could only dress as a woman when he was traveling alone and away from the family's house.
Kris denied this entirely, saying her ex never dressed as a woman in front of her, only that "somebody mentioned that at one point in his life he liked to dress up."
