On TikTok in mid-November, a handful of young people openly sympathized with and shared support for Osama Bin Laden's "Letter To America" missive, which was first published in 2002 in the wake of the 9/11 terror attacks he orchestrated. In the letter, the late Al-Qaeda leader attempted to justify the attacks, which ultimately claimed the lives of nearly 3,000 people. Now — amid Israel's ongoing war with Hamas — several people are seemingly aligning with the terror leader's ideals.
Many of the supportive social media posts have been taken down by the platforms on which they appeared — but not before they caught the attention of some bold-faced names in Hollywood and beyond…
Meghan McCain, for example, took to social media to address the new Bin Laden sympathizers: "I'm so scared of gen z because apparently their brains are so poisoned they think it's cool to share quotes from Osama Bin Laden's manifesto on tik tok like that's normal or rationale. Like how do we even fix that?" she wrote.
She later added, "I have a question for the parents of these z-ers going viral for supporting Osama Bin Laden: How exactly did you raise this?"

"To the parents of all of these losers suddenly persuaded by the deranged musings of the man who murdered 3k American innocents: you failed. You were likely boozing, marching for some L-wing cause and/or simply ignoring your kids. You failed to teach wrong from right, a proper moral code, a love of country and perspective on America's role in the world. Bc you failed, my kids and others are going to have to grow up battling these a******* for the future of the United States. I have every confidence they can do it, but I resent and judge you for making it necessary as opposed to fostering a life in which they can focus solely on growth, joy, love, family, hard work and creation. No point getting bogged down in it however, trust me when I tell you that the majority of Americans – this generation and the next – will fight to defeat the pernicious lunacy you've unleashed. And we will win." —Megyn Kelly

"Young people fall for online garbage less than we older folks do. But just in case, if some one wants you to read Osama Bin Laden's 'Letter to America,' and you think it's cool or okay in any way, please put the social medias down, go outside and breathe, and think about your life and your choices more wisely." —George Takei

"Thousands of TikTok users are siding with Osama bin Laden who murdered 3,000 Americans. This is a prime example of how our foreign enemies poison social media to advance their evil agenda. #BanTikTok. Stop giving the Chinese Communist Party the ability to influence Americans." —former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley
