Emma Grede, who helped Kim Kardashian launch Skims, hosted a "A Seat At The Table" dinner for women in business, but William Sitwell didn't approve of the lavish gathering.
"I think I may have witnessed the ghastliest, most grotesque, most vulgar, most shallow, most revolting, most tasteless, most vacuous and most vainglorious dinner party in history. In short, the worst," Sitwell wrote for The Telegraph.

"Grede, who was seen sitting next to Meghan as those assembled clinked glasses, described those in attendance as the 'most incredible group of women,' adding that it was a 'night built around connection… where women came together to share stories, exchange lessons, and lift each other higher,'" William Sitwell continued.

William Sitwell noted that Meghan Markle's appearance "came after a two-week PR bender" and the duchess' appearance on Emma Grede's podcast.
In the past month, the Suits star made her Paris Fashion Week debut, accepted a humanitarian award in New York and attended Fortune's Most Powerful Women summit in Washington, D.C.

Despite the criticism, Emma Grede celebrated her efforts and A-list guest list.
