Hyland, 23, joined the "All Too Well" singer in Manhattan to catch a performance off the off-Broadway play "Under My Skin." The gal pals looked chic as Swift, 24, donned a classy pale pink coat over a black dress and accessorized with a sparkly headband, black pumps, and a black handbag, while Hyland went all-black in a leather motorcycle jacket over a long tank and dark skinny pants, accessorizing with a quilted bag and brown heeled booties.
The blonde bombshell posted a photo of herself with the "Modern Family" actress, pointing out the juxtaposition of the two girls' styles. "We decided we were dressed like a straitlaced mom and her rebellious teen daughter," Swift wrote, adding the hashtags, "#YouDontUnderstandMeMom!!! #StormsOut #ComeBackHere,YoungLady!"
Swift has become known for her bevy of famous female friends. She hung out with "Girls" star Lena Dunham earlier this month after spending days on a road trip with Victoria's Secret model Karlie Kloss and bonding with Australian teen sensation Lorde in March.
