A TikTok user named Nivine Jay is going viral after sharing a video she supposedly received from Ben Affleck after "un-matching" him on a dating app.
Nivine says she thought she was being catfished by someone claiming to be the actor.
"Thinking of the time I matched with Ben Affleck on raya and thought it was fake so I unmatched him and he sent me a video on Instagram," she wrote on TikTok. The post then includes a video of Ben calling her out.
"Nivine, why did you unmatch me?" he said. "It's me."
The video has been reposted all over social media.
Interestingly, back in February 2020, the Oscar-winning actor said he wasn't on any dating apps, including Raya, which is tailored toward celebrities.
"I am not on any websites. I know people who are on them and they have a fun time, but not me," he said during an appearance on "Good Morning America." "I would love to have a relationship that was deeply meaningful and one to which I could be deeply committed."
The viral video comes amid reports that Ben has been hanging out with his ex-fiancé Jennifer Lopez following her recent split with Alex Rodriguez.
According to Page Six, the actor has been seen arriving at J.Lo's house in Los Angeles several times recently after supposedly getting picked up in her car.
"Security picks him up at a nearby location and drops him off after spending a few hours at her house," a source said last week.
However, regardless of the semi-clandestine visits, an insider insisted that nothing is brewing romantically.
"They are friends … they've never not been," a source said.
