Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson want Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie to stay in the royal fold. "Sarah has always said her greatest gift to the monarchy was her girls. She's going to still hold her allegiance to the Crown," the source said.

According to royal biographer Robert Jobson, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie were smart to spend time with King Charles III. "They did the right thing. Showing loyalty to King Charles and to the Crown. It's easy to say this is a snub, but they would say, 'I'm a royal princess, I'm in line to the throne, I have been invited to attend the King's Christmas celebrations and you don't turn down the King's invitation,' " he told the publication. "If you have an invitation, you go. It's not an invitation — it's a command, really."

Despite the downfall of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie aren't getting involved in the scandal. "They've found love and happiness in their lives. They have families themselves. That's what they really want to focus on," Robert Jobson said. "Unfortunately, their father and mother bring drama to their lives."

Since Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson were stripped of their titles and evicted from Royal Lodge due to their friendship with Jeffrey Epstein, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie have remained quiet. "They've been very low-key lately and not at many of the usual social events," a second source said. "They're really just keeping to close, family-only celebrations."
