Carlos Santana has canceled all of his December concerts after undergoing an "unscheduled heart procedure."

The music icon made the announcement on Twitter on Dec. 1, but he didn't go into specifics.
The 74-year-old said he wanted to give "some clarity with some specificity to what's going on with [his] physicality."
"Last Saturday, I had an incident where I asked my wife to take me to the hospital because I had this thing happening in my chest. So when we went there we found out we needed to take care of it," he said in a video. "I'm going to be taking time out for a little bit to make sure I replenish and I rest and I catch up with my health, so when I play for you I play the way I'm used to and I give you 150 percent. I wouldn't show up unless I can do that."
The Twitter announcement dubbed the medical situation as an "unscheduled heart procedure."
The "Smooth" hitmaker was set for a series of concerts in Las Vegas as part of his residency show at House of Blues. He will return to the residency in 2022.
