relationship trouble

Dina Lohan's relationship with online love is fractured again

One month ago, Dina Lohan got engaged to Jesse Nadler, a man she's dated off-and-on for more than half a decade but has never actually met in person. Now, though, the wedding is apparently off.

The relationship has hit the skids, too.

"She doesn't want me to go, but I need her to live a healthy life," Jesse told Page Six on Friday. "It really comes down to that. I want a healthy, solid woman as a wife."

Jesse told Page Six he was "confused" when Dina recently changed her Facebook status from "engaged" to "in a relationship." Of course, she did this after he sent her a ring in the mail. He also said they planned to tie the knot "the first hour" they saw each other.

Now, Jesse is planning for single life.

"I'll set up 'my house' in Westhampton Beach. I wish I was setting up 'home' with Dina, but I don't think it's in the cards," he said, adding that Dina needs to make the next move. "The ball is in Dina's court. If she can get us down the court and slam dunk health and positivity, me and Dina can have a nice life together."

The potential split news come just a few days after Dina dished wedding details on her podcast Listen to me, THE OG MAMA D!.

"I am going to go off the grid. Lindsay and Ali are going to be my maid of honors because they're both angels and both my boys are going to walk me down the aisle together," she said. "They've both been there and are such amazing men and so kind to their women. I can't even make it up."

Dina and Jesse have been off and on for six years but their relationship has been online only. On an early 2019 episode of "Celebrity Big Brother," Dina revealed that she had a boyfriend since the mid-'10s but admitted that their relationship was strictly virtual. She confessed that they'd only ever communicated online and over the phone because he lives in San Francisco, where he cares for his sick mom, while she lives in New York.

The unconventional romance prompted many to warn Dina that Jesse could be catfishing her. However, after offering his relationship-sleuthing services via Twitter, "Catfish" creator and star Nev Schulman connected with Jesse and proved that he was indeed real.

The couple split in April 2019 following a blowout fight a few days after Jesse proposed without a ring. He told TMZ at the time that he didn't see them getting back together. However, he later told "ET" they'd been texting and that if Dina offered a sincere apology, he'd reconsider his decision.

In April 2020, after Dina and Jesse both got sober, the relationship was back on. Then, in the midst of quarantining amid the coronavirus pandemic, Jesse sent a ring.

"We will meet way before [the wedding]. We aren't freaks or weirdos or like blind date whatever those shows are. I know him, he knows me," Dina said just days ago. "We have no secrets. I love him for him. That's it. That's what it is."

What's next?

Pete Davidson unsure of 'SNL' future: It's 'up in the air'

Pete Davidson's days at "Saturday Night Live" might be coming to an end … then again, maybe not.

While chatting with Gold Derby, the comedian touched on speculation — much of which he's been fueling — that claims he's planning to step away from the sketch show after seven years.

"I don't know what the plan is," Pete, 27, said. "Everything's kind of up in the air right now just depending on scheduling."

The "King of Staten Island" star has previously hinted that he was done with the NBC staple, saying that Season 46 was "really emotional," as it was the final year of his "SNL" contract.

"It is my seventh year, and that's usually what the contract's usually for, so it was really emotional," he said. "I worked with these guys for a fourth of my life, and I started there with acne and left with tattoos, and it was just, like, a very crazy, long period of time."

"I wasn't ready for the season to end yet because I was really having so much fun," he continued. "Just watching it go from one-third of an audience to [one-half] … and the last show was a full audience for the first time, just hearing that laugh, that full room laugh … I was just so emotional."

In May, Pete noted during a roundtable for The Hollywood Reporter that he was "ready to hang up the jersey" in referring to his "SNL" gig. Only further adding to the rumor mill, during Pete's final "Weekend Update" segment of the most recent season, he said, "I'm very grateful to be here, and it's been an honor to grow up in front of you guys."

Cryptic message

Khloe, Tristan Thompson's accuser post vague messages amid split news

One of the women who accused Tristan Thompson of cheating on Khloe Kardashian earlier this year is going cryptic amid news that the reality TV couple has once again split — a breakup that happened shortly after her accusations went public. Khloe, too, shared vague messages on social media amid the drama.

On June 21, Instagram model Sydney Chase posted a message from Justin LaBoy to her Instagram Story that read, "I can't even get mad no more. Life funny at this point."

Around the same time, Khloe was fairly cryptic on her Instagram Story, as she reposted a diatribe about being "at peace." The mother-of-one also posted a message that read, "One of the healthiest habits to learn: Take nothing personally."

Just before the social media posts, multiple reports said Khloe and the NBA player quietly called it quits a few weeks ago.

"They're getting along. There is no drama," a source told Page Six, adding that "everything is amicable, and they are on the same page with co-parenting" their 3-year-old daughter True.

TMZ, meanwhile, said the duo broke up shortly after Sydney claimed in late April that she and the NBA player hooked up this year while he was back in the throes of his romance with the "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star. After Sydney's claims on the "No Jumper" podcast — in which she went into graphic details about his private region — Tristan threatened legal action, but he has not gone through with it.

Sydney doubled down on her claims and insisted that she wasn't a "liar."

"He told me he was not in a relationship anymore, so I said OK," she claimed on the podcast. "We talked, we hung out multiple times, we went out together, everything." Sydney maintained that she knew who Tristan was and asked him directly if he was single, and he responded, "Yes."

She said, "It happened, and then I found out he was not single, and I cut him off."

Sydney later said on TikTok, "Yes the Tristan rumors are true. The last time we had contact — besides when he messaged me after finding out about the interview, it was the day after his daughter's [April 12] birthday party."

Splitsville?

Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson reportedly split again

Breakup rumors are again enveloping Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson.

On June 21, Page Six reported that the duo quietly split up "a few weeks ago."

"They're getting along. There is no drama," a source said, adding that "everything is amicable, and they are on the same page with co-parenting" their 3-year-old daughter True.

TMZ, meanwhile, said the duo broke up after cheating allegations arose last month when Instagram model Sydney Chase claimed that she and the NBA player hooked up this year while he was back in the throes of his romance with the "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star. After Sydney's claims on the "No Jumper" podcast, Tristan threatened legal action, but he has not gone through with it.

The split claims come amid speculation that Tristan is on the verge of being traded by the Boston Celtics and after the Daily Mail said he was spotted going to a party with three women, none of which were Khloe.

"Tristan took off into one of the party rooms where everyone goes to hook up," an insider told the Daily Mail. "He was with three women and another guy. One of the girls he was with is a regular partier — she's always out and about at parties. The other girls have just started going out with this group. He did this in front of about 30 people so you could hear people talking."

Tristan emerged 30 minutes later.

"When he arrived, his shirt looked all pressed and when he came out his shirt was a mess, he looked disheveled," the source said. "He continued to party for about another hour and then he left the party at about 4 a.m. with his entourage."

The source also claimed that Thompson was heavily flirting with one of the ladies there.

In an odd coincidence, the split reports come just after the airing of the "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" reunion in which Khloe said she wanted more kids with Tristan. The reunion was filmed over a month ago. At the time, she spoke of Tristan's "growth."

"I know the growth and all the work that he's done, I know all of the help that he's gotten and the constant efforts that he makes every single day and how hard he fought to get back with me currently," she explained. "I mean, you can ask everyone, it really wasn't an easy thing for him. I don't understand why someone would go through all that if they weren't serious."

Instagram

Khloe's relationship with Tristan has been a roller coaster. Back in 2018, just two days before Khloe gave birth to True, videos emerged of him cheating on the reality TV star with several women. In the following days, he was then linked to even more women. Khloe stayed with him through all the allegations and videos.

Then, in 2019, he was again accused of cheating on Khloe, this time with Kylie Jenner's now-former BFF Jordyn Woods. In the fallout, Khloe split with her beau but blamed Jordyn for the alleged hookup. She flat out said Jordyn — not Tristan — was the reason for the family fracture. Fans, though, turned on Khloe and ripped her for backing Tristan. Soon after, she changed her tune.

Almost immediately, Tristan tried winning Khloe back and he often left flirty comments on her Instagram. As time went on, a reconciliation seemed imminent. In 2020, the duo officially reconciled and Khloe tweeted that the entire Jordyn-Tristan incident was "hearsay."

Medical issue

'Bachelor' alum opens up about mystery hospitalization

Carly Waddell is lifting the veil on her recent mystery hospitalization.

In an Instagram video, the "Bachelor in Paradise" alum said she was boarding a flight last week when she "started having really bad intestinal cramps." While on the plane, she said, "It kept hitting and kept hitting, and I couldn't breathe anymore. Then I got super, super hot and super, super nauseous, and I stopped being able to see, stopped being able to hear."

After saying she needed to get off the plane, Carly passed out. Soon, medics transported her to the emergency room.

"I could not stop throwing up. I probably threw up 20 times," she said, while also adding that there was an issue with hospital workers getting her blood. "They stuck me, I don't know, 200 times, probably — at least 20. They couldn't get blood out for forever."

Eventually they discovered that her white blood cell count was high.

"They said it was probably a virus or bacteria that just got me and got me really good," she said.

Even though she's home, Carly still isn't back to normal — not even close.

"They didn't know what was going on, and I still haven't gone to the bathroom a week later," she said. "That's the update, that's what's going on, which, I don't know what's going on. Nobody actually knows."

Fans were first made aware of Carly's medical episode after her estranged husband posted a photo of her in the hospital.

Evan and Carly met on Season 3 of "Bachelor in Paradise" and got engaged afterward. They share two children, but he has three kids from a previous relationship. In December 2020, Evan and Carly announced their separation.

Engaged

Ronnie Ortiz-Magro confirms engagement on Instagram: See the post

Ronnie Ortiz-Magro has found his happily-ever-after.

On June 21, the reality TV star confirmed on Instagram that he and girlfriend Saffire Matos are engaged. The "Jersey Shore" star posted a photo that showed his lady love's ring, which he presented to her during a beach engagement. The words "Marry me" also appeared in the sand next to a romantic champagne setup and private picnic.

"I love you," he captioned the image. "Thank you for sticking by my side through thick and thin! Til death do us part! #SheSaidYes."

People magazine said Ronnie popped the question on June 19 in front of his 3-year-old daughter, Ariana, and his family.

"Ronnie has been taken this time to work on himself and his daughter," a source told the mag. "For him, he felt like this is right time. They're both really happy for this next chapter. His health and happiness are what is most important."

He and Saffire have been dating since last fall, and they've clearly overcome a lot. In April, the reality TV star was arrested after he and Saffire got into an argument that allegedly turned physical. She would go on to downplay the issue.

The engagement comes just as Ronnie's ex Jenn Harley deals with her own legal issues. Over the weekend, Jenn, who shares Ariana with Ron, was arrested in Las Vegas following a domestic incident with her boyfriend, Joseph Ambrosole.

TMZ said the two got into an argument at a gentlemen's club and they were asked to leave. The fight allegedly continued during the car ride home and she reportedly threw his phone out the window. When he got out of the car to retrieve it, she took off and left him to fend for himself. Once he got to back to her home, Jenn allegedly pointed a gun at Joseph and threatened to kill him.

Jenn soon fled the scene, but cops eventually tracked her down and arrested her for domestic violence and assault with a deadly weapon.

Awful accident

Russell Brand 'devastated' after dog mauls, kills wallaby

Russell Brand's German Shepherd reportedly mauled a wallaby to death this week, but the comic managed to save the marsupial's baby.

A source told The Sun that the "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" star was walking his dog, Bear, near his home in England when they came across a female wallaby with a baby in its pouch. Bear made a beeline for the animal. Russell apparently got involved in the tussle and saved the baby.

The actor is said to be mortified by the incident.

"Absolutely no one is blaming Russell or his dog — it's just a horrible accident," a source told the British publication. "In fact Russell was the hero because he managed to save the little joey and it could have been far worse if he hadn't stepped in so quickly."

Russell is a well known animal lover and often posts images of his pets on Instagram. In May he shared a video of Bear playing with his kittens.

"He is a very caring man with animals — he has plenty of pets and they're all his babies," the source said. "I understand he's devastated over what happened. It's really sad."

Estate issue

Family feud over DMX's estate begins

The family fight for DMX's estate has begun.

Page Six reported that Desiree Lindstrom, DMX's fiancee and mother to his 5-year-old son, recently asked the court to declare her his "common law wife," but a judge shot it down. If the move would have been approved, Desireee would have gained immediate seniority over his 14 children to potentially control his estate and all future earnings from his music.

Judge Helen Blackwood ruled that Desiree did "not have standing to file," as a common-law wife.

DMX left no will when he passed away in April from a drug overdose.

As Desiree fights to control DMX's legacy and future earnings, his older children are doing the same.

According to the June 19 report, an estate must be set up to manage future earnings from DMX'S music, and the first step is for a court to appoint administrators. Three of DMX's sons from his marriage to Tashera Simmons — Xavier, 28, Tacoma, 21, and Sean, 19 — are petitioning for be administrators. Further, two of his adult daughters from a different relationship are also fighting to be named administrators.

"There is no will from DMX and that's a big problem. This is a difficult situation because there are a number of people vying to be named administrators," a source said. "His fiancée Desiree tried to muscle in by asking the court to be named his common-law wife, which means she would have taken precedence over his children. But the court refused."

Trending name

Tristan Thompson's name trends, everyone thinks the same thing

On Friday, Tristan Thompson's name was trending on Twitter and pretty much everyone had the exact same thought.

"Me seeing Tristan Thompson trending thinking it has something to do with the Kardashians but then realizing it's about him and sports," one person said.

Another added, "Anytime Tristan Thompson is trending, I always assume it's for something other than basketball lol."

When Tristan's name has trended in the past, it's sometimes had something to do with his relationship with Khloe Kardashian or his, shall we say, spotty track record of faithfulness to her

On June 18, though, his name actually trended through no fault of his own. This time it had to do with his job. Tristan's name was quickly linked to trade rumors after his team, the Boston Celtics, made a big change with its roster Friday morning. There is growing sentiment that Tristan's time in Beantown is likely to end.

Brian To/Shutterstock

For pop culture fanatics, trade rumors involving Tristan and his career are a welcome reason to trend. Still, the jokes were pretty universal and similar.

"Tristan Thompson is trending because of basketball ……wtf going on in this world," one person said.

Another added, "I forget tristan thompson actually plays basketball when i see him trending."

Clearly, the Internet is always willing to have a ball at Tristan's expense.

Internet claim

Hugh Grant rips Internet claim about foundation of his marriage

Hugh Grant is publicly balking at a claim on the Internet that plainly states he and his wife of three years married for "passport reasons."

CLEMENS BILAN/EPA-EFE/Shutterstock

On June 17, the "Bridget Jones's Diary" actor posted a screenshot from a Google search and took issue with it.

"No I didn't, @Internet. I married her because I love her," he wrote on social media.

It appears that Google's claim stems from a 2018 interview Hugh did with USA Today. In that chat, Hugh — once thought of as an eternal bachelor — was asked about marrying Swedish wife Anna Elisabet Eberstein.

"My wife agrees with me that marriage is a pretty preposterous social construct," he's quoted in USA Today. "But when you've got three children, it's a nice thing to do."

Matt Baron/BEI/Shutterstock

Travel, he said, weighed into the til-death-do-us-part decision.

"I didn't like going through immigration into countries where they'd say, 'Everyone with a Grant passport, over here, and all the others through there.' She went through with the nannies. That seemed all wrong," he said.

At the time, the USA Today reporter told Hugh that Michael Phelps secretly married before his final Olympics to ease passport clearances.

"Did he? Well, we're very similar in many ways," Hugh said.

After Hugh's tweet on June 17, one follower wondered why the actor was Googling his wife's name. "Hugh Grant forget who his wife is and have to Google it?" the person asked. Hugh responded, "No. A friend sent it to me."
