Dog the Bounty Hunter has been ducking a $1 million judgment against him for eight years, and it's time for him to pay up, according to newly filed court paperwork.

Back in 2003, Duane Chapman was arrested and jailed in Mexico. After hiring a lawyer, Duane was released. However, Duane and the lawyer disagree over payment, and the reality TV star ended up suing. The lawyer sued back and won. In 2013, Duane was hit with a judgment of about $880,000 in California over the matter.
TMZ reports that the lawyer has yet to receive anything, and has now filed paperwork in Hawaii, where Duane has a home. The documents claims Dog now owes $880,916 plus interest.
Those doggone court judgments never seem to go away.
Legal issues seem to be the furthest thing from Dog's mind, as he's hinting that a marriage is in the future. In May 2020, the "Dog's Most Wanted" star got engaged to girlfriend Francie Frane, an engagement that came 10 months after his wife, Beth Chapman, passed following a battle with lung cancer.
"My Francie Francie I Love You !!!!," he captioned a photo of Francie on Aug. 1. "And soon be proving that beyond a Shadow of a doubt!!!"
