King Charles III is expected to visit Washington, D.C., later this year, but His Majesty could extend his U.S. tour to see
Prince Harry in California.

If King Charles III were to fly to California to see
Prince Harry, it would become public fodder.
"Extending an invitation to meet his father will almost certainly be a media event," a PR expert told the outlet. "But so too will any failure to invite him. It will be a story if Harry is there, and it will be a story if he isn't. It's quite a dilemma."

Prince Harry is expected to return to the U.K. in 2027, and insiders shared he's hopeful that King Charles III will make an appearance.

Prince Harry desperately wants Charles at Invictus, and he wants him to open the games alongside him," a source told
The Sun.

"Harry wants it to happen both for the games, and for their relationship. It's his dream to have his father by his side," the source continued.
The insider claimed
Prince Harry wants "Charles involved in the opening ceremony," noting, "The games represent a cause close to both's hearts."
