According to royal author
Andrew Lownie, Sarah Ferguson will likely take up residency in Dubai after being banished from The Firm. "In Britain, neither Sarah nor
Andrew [Mountbatten-Windsor] will be socially accepted again, whatever they try to do or wherever they go. But in the Middle East, no one will care about what they have got up to [with Jeffrey Epstein]," he told
Daily Mail. "There are people there — royalty, politicians and business types — whom Sarah can quite happily sponge off and who will be happy to bankroll both of them."

After being stripped of her honors, evicted from Royal Lodge and dropped from several charities, Sarah Ferguson may want to go where she can put the scandal behind her. "These types of people in the Middle East simply couldn't care less what Sarah has done," Andrew Lownie said. "And even if she doesn't have her title of the Duchess of York anymore, she will still be seen as royalty and treated as such — and she knows it."

With Sarah Ferguson in need of income, Andrew Lownie thinks the Middle East will be the best place for her. "There are plenty of dodgy people in the Middle East who would quite happily help out Sarah. People in Dubai have been linked to [Jeffrey] Epstein through the email release, but they are safe because they know they are untouchable," he said. "They have palaces and properties that they will quite happily loan out to Sarah. I wouldn't be surprised if they even pay her airfares and cover all her bills to help her out. Let's not forget Sarah has no money and has quite an extravagant lifestyle, she will want to carry that on. I'm sure Sarah could make a life for herself out there, staying out of the public eye and sponging off Middle East connections."

PR expert
Chad Teixeira believes Sarah Ferguson should also consider trying television to make money. "It's hard to imagine her embracing mainstream reality television unless it clearly aligned with her personal narrative," he told
Daily Express. "Although desperate times call for desperate measures. If she were ever to consider it, it would likely be a premium, intelligent format that allowed her wit and humanity to shine, something like
The Traitors."

Sarah Ferguson was hit with even more scandal after the U.S. Department of Justice released emails she'd sent to Jeffrey Epstein. "You are a legend. I really don't have the words to describe my love, gratitude for your generosity and kindness," she wrote in an email to the convicted criminal on January 30, 2010, via
People. "I am at your service. Just marry me."
