Lady Gaga publicly apologized to her boyfriend after publicly gushing about her ex-fiancé, even saying she loved him "so much."

On Nov. 2, the singer was campaigning for Presidential nominee Joe Biden in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania — not far from where Taylor Kinney grew up. While reminiscing about Taylor, whom she dated from 2011 to 2016, Gaga said, "I know, it didn't work out. I loved him so much, it just did not work out. But I still love my Pennsylvania guy. I love Joe! So Joe's my new Pennsylvania guy."
Joe was born in Pennsylvania and spent his childhood years there.
While singing "You and I," Gaga may have realized how her warm and fuzzy feelings about Taylor looked, so she took a minute to address her current beau, Michael Polansky.
"To my boyfriend here tonight, I'm sorry I had to do this whole 'Pennsylvania, I dated a guy here' thing, I love you so much, but it's true," she said.

Only adding to the intrigue was the fact that Gaga and Taylor met while filming her music video for "You and I," the song she was singing when she addressed Michael.
The 11-time Grammy winner and Michael began dating in late 2019 after she ended her engagement to Christian Carino.
Perhaps Michael has no need to worry about Gaga's past feelings about her ex. In March, a source told E! News that she was "crazy about [Michael]."
"She's really into him!" an insider said, adding that the two "are opposites of each other, which all-around is a good thing for her… He definitely cares a lot about Gaga."
