Kenya Moore better show her business or she's done with show business, producers of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" have told her, according to TMZ.
Kenya has been very secretive about her new husband, Marc Daly, even refusing to name him in the days after their wedding last month. She had previously said that Marc wants nothing to do with the popular reality TV show, and the new report says he has "big problems with the way 'RHOA' portrays black men."
However, TMZ said on July 6, producers have essentially given her an ultimatum: Let us film him and chronicle your marriage or else you're fired. Certainly neither are appealing options and Kenya has tried to fight back, reportedly to no avail.
The "Housewives" star has argued that her contract doesn't mention him, so he shouldn't have to be involved in the filming if he doesn't want to.
Kenya is really stuck between a rock and a hard place — she wants to stay on the show, but doesn't want to jeopardize her new marriage. Producers, the report says, are unsympathetic.
In speaking to People magazine last month about why she refused to reveal Marc's identity (the two dated for a year before the nuptials,) she said, "He didn't sign up for this world, I did," Kenya explained. "Every time someone has been associated with me, they attack that person – immediately going after them, trying to bring them down and saying crazy things. They tear people apart. And so for [Marc], he was like, 'This is about me and you — it's not about me or you.' He just wanted it to be about our pure love and not about him."
"That's why I fell in love with him," she added. "For him, it's about being my protector and my best friend — not being someone that stands next to me, but someone who supports me and is okay with being behind me sometimes. He doesn't want my money, he doesn't want my fame, he doesn't want my success — he just wants my heart, and he has it."
