Earlier this month, Kim Kardashian called Tristan Thompson a "Canadian Prophet" after his Instagram post about "changing." While Kim appears to be on board with Tristan's revelations, the Internet isn't having the NBA player's philosophical takes.
On Aug. 25, Khloe Kardashian's baby daddy took to Instagram to wax poetic about working hard to achieve goals.
"Want to improve your health, your career, your life?," he wrote alongside a few images at basketball practice. "Keep showing up. Keep showing up. Keep showing up."
Not surprisingly, several NBA players applauded Tristan's words, as did Khloe's brother, Rob Kardashian, but the multitude of the hoopster's Instagram followers felt that his words were hollow, and everyone's comments were essentially the same.
"How about improving relationships?," one person said. Another chided, "Improve being a better partner." Yet one more wrote, "You 'keep showing up' in other women's beds."
Tristan has been the Internet's punching bag for several years, based mostly on his spotty track record of faithfulness to Khloe.
Back in 2018, just two days before Khloe gave birth to their daughter, True, videos emerged of Tristan cheating on the reality TV star with several women. In the following days, he was then linked to even more women, and Khloe chose to stay with him. Then in 2019, he was again accused of cheating on Khloe, this time with Kylie Jenner's now-former BFF Jordyn Woods. After that, the duo split. Soon, though, they were back on. The roller coaster continued in June 2021, as reports claimed the couple split again amid different cheating allegations.
Seemingly after every breakup, Tristan tries to win Khloe back with public declarations and flirtatious comments. So far, it's usually worked. After his most recent post, one commenter alluded to that, predicting, "Khloe [will] fall for those words."
In fact, just two weeks ago, a report claimed Khloe and Tristan were back on again. However, more reputable media outlets said the two were simply co-parenting. Still, that didn't stop one person from ripping Khloe for her reconciliations with True's dad.
"At this point @khloekardashian has no self worth. Anyway…," the person said on Twitter last week. Khloe fired back, "You're telling me you made an assessment about my life because of a random blog? I think that says more about you than it does about me."
