On the Monday, May 5, episode of The Daily Show, Jon Stewart made a mock version of the popular series Shark Tank to highlight how Donald Trump's comments are harmful.Stewart shared a chart with "OK?" on the Y axis and "statements over time" on the X axis.
"Hi, sharks," he began. "When I saw the president of the United States starting out on tariffs and ending up on dolls and parades and pencils, I thought, 'There's gotta be a better way to help Americans figure out which of the things it's OK to get upset about and which things are just him f****** off.' So I invented this chart."

Jon Stewart urged Americans not to "take the bait" and get distracted by Donald Trump's antics."The chart was supposed to prevent this kind of overemotional digression," he said. "This one's on me. I am not leading a chart-based life right now."

"You see what you're doing to people, [Donald] Trump? MSNBC's got to waste valuable airtime fact-checking your f****** nonsense — time they could have spent frowning, sighing and rolling their eyes," Jon Stewart said._
Donald Trump has previously bragged about how quickly he can post things on Truth Social, but he often uses the social media platform to criticize the media and share lengthy rants rather than legitimate commentary on important issues."To get to substantive policy questions, you have to face down the fire hose of his nonsense and b******* that moves you off track," Jon Stewart said.
"His frenetic nature that means we all end up suffering from a kind of secondhand ADHD, a viral cloud of his unfocused weaving that gives all of us brain fog," Stewart continued.

"It's just a stupid thing to keep us occupied, to lose focus on his actual policies," Jon Stewart said, adding that it's "OK" to ignore Donald Trump's comments about Alcatraz."But why would you wanna reopen Alcatraz? What the f*** is that?" Stewart asked.
"I guess any opportunity for Trump to open a prison and simultaneously close a museum is too good to pass up," he continued.

When he was inaugurated, Donald Trump promised to "preserve, protect and defend" the Constitution, but he is already joking about amending it to run for a third presidential term."Preserve, protect and defend, i.e., uphold," Jon Stewart said. "It's not optional. It is not an opportunity for you to lawyer-shop loopholes to our nation's founding document. You took an oath."

Donald Trump also made headlines this week when he shared an AI-generated image of himself as the Pope."While we're chasing Pope and Alcatraz stories, the Trump administration has gutted funding for America's food banks," Jon Stewart said. "They've hollowed out the FAA to the point where Newark Airport is basically inoperable, and not in its usual way."
"Do you know how bad you have to be to make the lives of sick 9/11 responders worse? The Trump administration is now No. 2 on the 9/11 evil power rankings," Stewart continued, referencing the Trump admin's pause on a federally funded World Trade Center Health Program. "Al Qaeda is still No. 1, but you're closing the gap."
