According to polling, Rep. Liz Cheney's reelection bid for the House of Representatives is an uphill battle, but she has one major Hollywood heavyweight throwing support her way.
On Monday, Aug. 1, the Wyoming congresswoman tweeted out a picture of Kevin Costner rocking a pro-Cheney t-shirt while on the set of "Yellowstone." The white t-shirt read, "I'm for Liz Cheney."
In her caption, Cheney wrote, "Real men put country over party."
Despite her long history as a staunch conservative, Cheney is on the outs with Republicans after being one of 10 party members who voted to impeach former President Donald Trump following the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol. She's also the co-chair of the member of the House select committee investigating the attack, in which rioters violently attempted to stop Congress from certifying Joe Biden's victory. Throughout the hearings, Cheney has often called out members of her own party for continuing to embrace Trump, opining that the party has largely chosen the former POTUS over America.
Regardless, Cheney's days in Congress appear to be limited, as she trails Trump-backed GOP challenger Harriet Hageman by double-digits in nearly every poll.

Costner, for that matter, has said in the past that he isn't a down-the-line party voter, describing himself as a firm independent.
"I vote for who I think has the best interests of the country and how we sit in the world," he told the Daily Beast in 2020. "The Democratic Party doesn't represent everything that I think, and neither does the Republican Party right now — at all. So, I find it too limiting."
