Andrew Cuomo's latest campaign advertisement certainly has people talking.In the latest promotional video for the New York City mayoral hopeful, who is running as an independent, he attempts to help a man jump-start a car. However, many social media users slammed the politician for his inauthenticity within the clip.

Accompanied by the footage of Andrew Cuomo trying to fix a vehicle, the advertisement declares, "Start your engines. Together we can fix this city."Despite the former governor's efforts, the public wasn't won over. "Speaking directly to whoever is managing your campaign ads, these are more and more embarrassing one after another," one person wrote below the video.
"This is so cringe and inauthentic," a second user chimed in.
"Help us by staying home in Westchester and picking up a hobby," another said.
"I've seen car crashes smoother than whatever that handshake was," a fourth pointed out about Cuomo's interaction with the driver of the car.

One eagle-eyed social media user highlighted the strange way Andrew Cuomo attached the jumper cables to the vehicle."You connect the negative of the jump car to the chassis of the dead car, not the battery terminal, otherwise you could cause a fire," one X user claimed. "More evidence that Cuomo is dangerous for New Yorkers."
Despite the criticism, Cuomo's spokesperson Rich Azzopardi said the 67-year-old is a "trained mechanic" and knew what he was doing.

Andrew Cuomo is running for mayor of New York City as an independent after being defeated by Democratic socialist Zohran Mamdani in the primary.Many users in the comments section claimed the lawyer's latest advertisement pushed them toward supporting the 33-year-old.
"Watching this just made me like Zohran even more," one person wrote.
"Can't wait to vote Mamdani, again!" a second user added.
