Senator Lindsey Graham is calling on President Donald Trump to "close the chapter" on Iran by fully backing Israel's military actions against Tehran.During an appearance on the Monday, June 16, episode of Hannity, Graham called on Trump to go "all in" and help Israel "eliminate the nuclear threat."

Amid rising tensions between Israel and Iran, Lindsey Graham delivered a stark message to President Donald Trump while on the Fox News show."Be all in, President Trump, in helping Israel eliminate the nuclear threat," he said. "If we need to provide bombs to Israel, provide bombs. If we need to fly planes with Israel, do joint operations."
Graham went on to pose a rhetorical question about the future of Iran, asking, "Wouldn't the world be better off if the ayatollahs went away and were replaced by something better? Wouldn't Iran be better off?"

On Friday, June 13, Israel launched a series of airstrikes in Iran, killing military officials and scientists in an effort to shut down the country's nuclear program.Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has accused Iran of building nuclear weapons with hostile intent — while Iran insists its nuclear efforts are solely for civilian use.
In retaliation, Iran fired missiles, some of which were intercepted by U.S. defense systems.

After the strikes, President Donald Trump took to Truth Social to issue a warning, urging Tehran's 10 million residents to "immediately evacuate.""Simply stated, IRAN CAN NOT HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON," he wrote. "I said it over and over again! Everyone should immediately evacuate Tehran!"
Lindsey Graham, known for his aggressive stance during the Afghanistan and Iraq wars, doubled down on his belief that Iran is a long-term threat.
"It's time to close the chapter on the Ayatollah and his henchmen. Let's close it soon and start a new chapter in the Mideast, one of tolerance, hope, and peace," he said.
