ET confirms that Eubanks will be on hand to serenade Leno with his signature guitar licks when he retakes "The Tonight Show" throne on March 1 -- the issue of how long Eubanks will remain with the show is reportedly up in the air, though.

The 52-year-old music man says he might be interested in doing more of his own touring and recording, reports the Associated Press.

When Leno took over "The Tonight Show" from Johnny Carson in 1992, Eubanks played guitar in the show's band, and he took over the bandleader position from Branford Marsalis in 1995.
