She was PERFECT!
In what some might a call a bit of typecasting, Lea Michele paid tribute to Natalie Portman's Oscar-winning role in Black Swan for Halloween this year.
Attending a Hollywood costume party on Saturday, the singer-actress, 25, donned Portman's already-iconic "Swan Queen" ballerina costume. As Nina in the 2010 smash, 30-year-old Portman was a more intense, R-rated version of Michele's Rachel Barry character on Glee -- a disturbingly ambitious performer psychotically obsessed with nabbing the lead roles (the good "Swan Queen" and the evil "Black Swan") in Swan Lake.
(Spoiler alert: Nina's quest to make it to the top doesn't end so well.)
But Michele was pleased as punch following her Saturday masquerade out. "What a fun party last night!" she tweeted. "Got to see my cast all dress up as Rugrats! It was awesome! Everyone's costumes were amazing!"
