The countdown to Catching Fire kicks into high gear with Lionsgate's latest casting news.
The studio behind The Hunger Games: Catching Fire has settled on actress Meta Golding for the role of ruthless District 2 tribute Enobaria, a former victor who won the 62nd Annual Games when she ripped open the throat of a competitor -- with her teeth.
Prior to joining The Hunger Games franchise, Golding appeared on numerous TV shows, including Day Break, Dark Blue, CSI: Miami, Burn Notice, House, and Ally McBeal.
Golding joins an already star-studded cast; Jena Malone is set to play fellow tribute Johanna Mason, while Philip Seymour Hoffman will star as gamemaker Plutarch Heavensbee. Sam Claflin -- who played opposite Kristen Stewart in Snow White and the Huntsman -- is reportedly in talks to play the dashing Finnick Odair, while character actress Lynn Cohen will play Finnick's 80-year-old mentor, Mags. (Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson will reprise their roles as Katniss, Gale, and Peeta.)
