"Bachelor" alumna Shayne Lamas has reportedly lost her baby following a pregnancy complication, TMZ reports.

According to the site, paramedics were called to the Orange County home of the Season 12 "Bachelor" winner after she collapsed. Lamas was taken to the hospital and lost her unborn child during surgery. While TMZ also reported that Shayne was in a coma, Lorenzo Lamas's rep told People that she is conscious. "Shayne is not in a coma. She is conscious and stable. She knows what happened to her and she is upset," Lorenzo's rep told the mag. "She was very ill last night. The ER doctors saved her life."

The baby would have Lamas' second child with husband Nik Richie. The pair welcomed daughter Press Dahl Lamas-Richie in November 2011.

TMZ also reported Monday afternoon that Lamas is not "breathing on her own. Doctors, however, remain "optimistic" about the reality star's recovery. The site also reports her father Lorenzo and husband are both by her side. Her husband posted a message on his website, TheDirty.com, on Monday. "I'm going to take some personal days off from the blogging world. Unfortunate things happen to good people. I'm not the best person in the world, but I love my wife and my family. Shayne is my good person. She is my support and my smile. I found you and I never want to let you go. We will overcome," he wrote.

Richie confirmed to Us Weekly last month that his wife was expecting again. "Both Shayne and I are super excited for our second child," the 32-year-old co-founder of TheDirty.com wrote in a blog post. "I've grown so much as a father and Shayne is an amazing mother. Together we are a great team and love each other very much."
