Erica Kane's (Susan Lucci) lesbian daughter Bianca is returning to Pine Valley, but she will have a new face as the role has been recast.

Newcomer Christina Bennett Lind has been cast in the role of Bianca Montgomery on ABC's Emmy® Award-winning daytime drama, "All My Children."

"I am thrilled to welcome Christina Bennett Lind to the cast of 'All My Children.' The role of Bianca is quite special. She is the moral compass of the show. I am confident that Christina's talent and sensibility will allow this character to continue to thrive," says executive producer Julie Hanan Carruthers.

In 2000 "All My Children" made TV history with a ground-breaking story which featured a young Bianca Montgomery coming out as a gay teenager to her mother, Erica Kane. This storyline made Bianca daytime television's first contracted lesbian character.

Lind's first airdate is Monday, June 14, 2010. "All My Children" airs weekdays on ABC.
