Rebel Wilson was forced to disable her Instagram comments this week after receiving death threats. The threats were, in fact, so severe that the FBI is apparently investigating.

The actress revealed the news in an Instagram post to her 3.6 million followers but, of course, no one could comment on it. The post has since been deleted.

A screenshot of the image, though, shows an image of the Hollywood sign, along with the caption, "Just letting you guys know that my comments are temporarily suspended because of death threats I recently received. The FBI is currently investigating."

She didn't further detail the extent of the messages, why she's receiving them or who she's been receiving them from.

This is actually not the first time she's been the subject of death threats, although they're being taken far more seriously this time. Late last year, she caught the ire of many overzealous One Directions fans.

During an appearance on Ellen DeGeneres, Rebel aggressively hugged Harry Styles and the boy band's fans were less than thrilled.

"Basically I got accused of sexually assaulting Harry Styles," Rebel told Ellen in February, recalling the moment.

"These little girls, I think they're about 12--very, very unhappy with that. Basically, we're just like two professional entertainers having a good time, and he really enjoyed it. And, I told them that on Twitter, and then they just sent me more death threats."

Rebel joked that she really loves her young men, including Harry and Justin Bieber, whom she tried to pick up in Las Vegas in mid-January at the opening of Jennifer Lopez's show.

"I did pick up Justin Bieber the other night," Rebel told Ellen at the time. "Yep in Las Vegas Justin and I had a moment."

Ellen tried to pry for more information about the encounter with The Biebs, but Rebel stayed tight-lipped, adopting the old "What's happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas" motto.

"Yeah. We'll leave it at that," Rebel said. "I'll talk to you later and I don't want his fans sending me death threats."
