It's been a sad week in the music world following the death of Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington.

During a performance in Indiana on July 20, Gavin Rossdale took a minute out of his performance with his band Bush to address the loss of Chester.
Gavin made it clear that the last time he saw Chester — which was during Chris Cornell's memorial service — that the Linkin Park singer was struggling to cope with the loss of his friend. At the service, Chester sang a tribute to his late friend with a performance of "Hallelujah."

"I don't what's going on, but it's a bad scene," Gavin said to the crowd about Chester's death — which TMZ has video footage of.
"It's so very sad. It's impossible to know anything about their situation. It's between him and himself. I feel bad for his children, the people he left, his wife. So look after each other and be good to yourselves."

Chester, 41, committed suicide on July 20 — which would have been Chris Cornell's 53rd birthday — while his family was out of town.
Other people from the music world have expressed their sadness at Chester's death, most notably his bandmate Mike Shinoda.
Following Chester's death, Linkin Park has canceled the world tour they were about to kick off.
