According to the source, Prince William is eager to remove Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew from any public roles within The Firm, despite them not being working royals due to their alleged ties to Jeffrey Epstein. However, King Charles III isn't as keen to take away those privileges."William feels even more strongly than the King that Andrew and Fergie are an embarrassment and will be urging his father to act," they claimed. "The optics of that pair of chancers guffawing away at events look terrible. But the King doesn't want to cut ties with his brother, former sister-in-law and that side of the family."

King Charles III's loyalty to Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew stems from the late Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip's wish to keep the parents of their granddaughters Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie in the royal fold."The late Queen, conscious that Fergie was the mother of her granddaughters, always took that view, even if Prince Philip couldn't bear to be in the same room as Sarah," the same source explained about keeping the family together.

In the aftermath of the alleged emails written by Sarah Ferguson to Jeffrey Epstein being released, several charities dropped the 65-year-old, including the children's hospice organization, Julia's House."Following the information shared this weekend on the Duchess of York's correspondence with Jeffrey Epstein, Julia's House has taken the decision that it would be inappropriate for her to continue as a patron of the charity," a representative said in a statement. "We have advised the Duchess of York of this decision and thank her for her past support."

In the alleged 2011 correspondence, Sarah Ferguson appeared to be remorseful for denouncing Jeffrey Epstein in the press."I know you feel hellaciously let down by me. And I must humbly apologize to you and your heart for that," the message read. "You have always been a steadfast, generous and supreme friend to me and my family. I am apologizing to you today for not replying to your email or reaching out to you. I was bedridden with fear. I was paralyzed."
