Thomas Markle Jr. said Thomas Markle Sr. is doing "remarkably well" and in "good spirits," adding he is "determined to walk again with the aid of a prosthetic leg."

Despite the severity of his condition, Meghan Markle chose not to visit Thomas Markle in the Philippines.
"Given that a Daily Mail reporter [Caroline Graham] has remained at her father's bedside throughout, broadcasting each interaction and breaching clear ethical boundaries, it has been exceedingly difficult for the Duchess to contact her father privately, despite her efforts over the past several days," the Suits star's spokesperson said in a statement.

"With the support of reliable and trusted contacts, her correspondence is now safely in his hands," the rep shared, referring to Meghan Markle giving her father a letter.
