"Teen Mom" couple Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra are expecting their second child, Lowell's mother, April Stotts, confirms exclusively to Us Weekly.
In an interview with Us reporter Brody Brown, second-time Grandma-to-be Stotts revealed the fan favorite MTV couple are pregnant with their second child. The couple, both 22, bravely put their first child, daughter Carly, up for adoption in May 2009.
"She called to ask me about a pregnancy test and if I thought she was pregnant," Stotts shares of how her daughter at first revealed she was expecting. "So I made her send me a picture and I told her, 'I believe you are, you should go get a couple more and take a couple more.'"
And Lowell couldn't be more excited about the news. "She was crying when she knew for sure and so I was like, 'Are you happy? Are you upset?' And she was like I'm happy!,'" her mom added.
Lowell is especially excited this time around, her mom adds, "knowing she's keeping the baby."
Stotts goes on to say Lowell is hoping for a girl, so she can buy "all the zebra stripes and pink stuff."
When it comes to their first daughter, Carly, Stotts adds the couple are a "little worried what Carly will think because she’s only going to be 5 in a couple of days and what her thoughts will be that they’re having a baby." However, now that Carly is living with her own loving family, Stotts reassured them: "I’m like, it has been five years so…she’s loved, she knows all that."
Stotts adds she and her own daughter, whose tough times were well documented on the show, are "all good now."
