Where there's smoke, there's fire? It seems that not a week goes by anymore without rumors of the demise of Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady's marriage.
This week, Us Weekly is reporting that the sporty couple's six-year marriage is "in dangerous territory" due to "intense fights."
Gisele recently consulted with a divorce lawyer, a source told the magazine, but "Tom thinks it's only a threat." The source added, "This is definitely a rough patch."
The fighting has apparently increased since the NFL star was hit with a four-game suspension for his alleged knowledge of "Deflategate," where footballs were intentionally deflated to offer better grip of the ball. Tom has appealed the suspension and has taken his fight to court.
"Tom's become very nasty and irritable and started acting out on her," the source said.
However, the couple is trying desperately to save their marriage. They still live together in their Boston apartment and have made it a point to spend quality one-on-one time together. Gisele also traveled to New York with her husband this week to support him during the most recent "Deflategate" hearing.
"Things are very tense right now," another source told Us. "This could be the end of them."
Last month, another report said that the couple's marriage was simply breaking down. "Things have never been this bad," a source said at the time. "Gisele told Tom that if he didn't make more of an effort, she might go back to Brazil for a few months to think about the future."
The couple has two children together: Benjamin, 5, and Vivian, 2. A judge has said that he will rule on "Deflategate" by Sept. 4.
