He then portrayed Charlotte's first husband, Trey, on "Sex and the City" from 2000 to 2002 and Bree's second husband, Orson, on "Desperate Housewives" from 2006 to 2012. Most recently, Kyle appeared on "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.," voiced Riley's dad in "Inside Out" and portrayed the mayor on "Portlandia." He romanced "Twin Peaks" co-star Lara Flynn Boyle and then moved on with supermodel Linda Evangelista, to whom he was briefly engaged. After they called it quits in 1998 after six years together, he found love with publicist Desiree Gruber. They tied the knot in 2002 and welcomed their son, Callum, in 2008.

Michael Ontkean has worked less in film and on television than his "Twin Peaks" co-stars, though he did appear in the 2011 Oscar-nominated dramedy "The Descendants." Since then, he's reportedly quit acting — and even turned down the opportunity to reprise his role in the 2017 "Twin Peaks" revival. Michael (pictured back in 1989, the last time he was photographed publicly) reportedly lives in Hawaii with his wife, actress Jamie Smith Jackson, and their two children.

(In recent years, though, Lara's career has been less noteworthy than the changes in her appearance.) After her relationship with "Twin Peaks" co-star Kyle MacLachlan came to an end, Lara moved on with John Patrick Dee III, her husband from 1996 to 1998. After that, she was linked to Harrison Ford before taking up with David Spade, whom she left for Jack Nicholson. In 2007, the "West Side Story" star released a fictional autobiography, "Impostor: Or Whatever Happened to Richard Beymer?"

He's appeared mostly in made-for-TV movies, had an uncredited role in 2002's "High Crimes" and popped up on an episode of "CSI" in 2003. He reportedly married his second wife, actress Renee Allman, in 1998. They have one son together. The former Navy officer, who invaded Normandy on D-Day, was married to Virginia Calhoun for nearly seven decades. They had three children: actress Lindsay Frost and sons Scott Frost, a novelist and photographer, and Mark Frost, who co-created "Twin Peaks" with David Lynch.
