During Stephen Colbert's opening monologue, Prince Harry wandered on stage, jokingly asking where the auditions for the Hallmark movie Gingerbread Christmas Prince Saves Christmas in Nebraska were.When the host asked why the Spare author wanted to be in the film, Harry replied, "You Americans are obsessed with Christmas movies, and you're clearly obsessed with royalty, so why not?"
Colbert refuted the claim, to which Harry replied: "Really? I hear you elected a king."

While sarcastically pleading for an audition, Prince Harry took another jab at Donald Trump by referencing CBS' decision to cancel The Late Show with Stephen Colbert after the Republican sued the network."I'll record a self-tape, I'll fly myself to an audition, settle a baseless lawsuit with the White House — all the things you people in TV do," the 41-year-old told Stephen Colbert.
The television star added, "Hey, I didn't do any of those things," to which Harry replied, "Maybe that's why you're canceled."

There is no love lost between Prince Harry and Donald Trump.During the conservative's state visit to England, Trump appeared to shade Princess Diana's youngest son by gushing only about Prince William in his speech to the family.
"His Majesty [King Charles III] has also raised a remarkable son in His Royal Highness, the Prince of Wales. Really amazing. We've gotten to know you and I think you're going to have an unbelievable success in the future," the American leader said.
