He's back!

Artem Chigvintsev reveals new details about baby boy with Nikki Bella ahead of 'DWTS' return

He's back! Just three weeks after welcoming his first child, a son, with fiancée Nikki Bella, fan favorite pro dancer Artem Chigvintsev is preparing to return to "Dancing With the Stars" for season 29. The new dad announced the news on Instagram and on "Good Morning America" on Aug. 24.

"Finally, the news is out! it was so hard to keep a secret," Artem said in an Instagram video. "This year has been absolutely incredible for me for a lot of various reasons. One of them is getting engaged and I have a newborn baby [who] I adore and love so much. And of course the cherry on the cake is getting 'Dancing With the Stars.' I can't wait to get into that ballroom and just teach, perform… that's what I do and that's what I love." He thanked fans for their support, adding, "I just want to make you proud."

"GMA" also shared the exciting news and spoke to Artem, who reiterated that he "can't wait to get back" — after eight seasons on the ABC competition show, he sat out  last season — and said that he wants "to dedicate this season to my little boy."

Though the Russia native and wrestling-turned-reality TV star Nikki have not yet publicly revealed their son's name, Artem did share some sweet new details about his baby boy and mama Nikki.

"It has been the most incredible feeling and Nicole and I are just obsessed," Artem told "GMA" of his feelings on fatherhood. "I just didn't know that I could have so much love to give. He literally owns us." Like most new parents, Artem hasn't been getting much sleep following his son's July 31 birth. "What's sleep? Do people really sleep?" Artem quipped, explaining that "It's been kind of challenging because he's been waking up every hour and a half, and I really feel bad for Nicole because he's a really good eater [and she's breastfeeding]. He's been on it."

He's also been putting his professional skills to good use as a new dad and dancing around to sooth his son. "Especially when he has those moments of crying, I grab him in my hands, do a foxtrot around the room, and he's just sound asleep afterwards," Artem said.

The new father also told "GMA" he's been working hard to make sure he's physically prepared for the new season. "I've been working out every single day trying to get back into my dancing shape," he said. "It has been challenging for the past couple weeks especially because of the schedule with the baby, but I promise by Sept 14, I'll be top notch."

The ABC competition show returns to TV on Monday, Sept. 14.

Engaged

Fan favorite 'Bachelor' couple is engaged

One of Bachelor Nation's favorite couples is making it official: Kaitlyn Bristowe and Jason Tartick are engaged.

Kaitlyn announced the news on Instagram on May 11, posting a series of images of her huge diamond ring.

"Don't pinch me," she captioned the images.

Jason also posted several images, one of which shows him popping the question, which occurred while his new fiance was recording her "Off the Vine" podcast.

"Choosing your forever is the most important decision in the world, @kaitlynbristowe you made that decision so easy!," he wrote alongside the images. "Love you to death and forever."

Jason and Kaitlyn both shared a video of the moment on their Instagram Stories — the footage shows Kaitlyn excitedly asking, "Are you kidding me with that thing!" as her beau put the ring on her finger.

The former "Dancing With The Stars" winner told ET of the moment, "It was everything I could have asked for. The words that came out of his mouth were insanely beautiful. We've never locked eyes like that in our lives. We were holding hands, so intense, and I was listening to his every word, but still blacked out."

Kaitlyn, who starred as "The Bachelorette" on season 11, was shocked at a proposal.

"Jason's like, 'Kaitlyn, we're not doing a podcast.' And I'm like, 'You forgot to hit record, didn't you!'" she told ET. "He was like, 'No, this is something else,' and he got up and I saw him bring out a ring box from the drawer."

The couple was first linked in January 2019 after he appeared on her "Off the Vine with Kaitlyn Bristowe" podcast. The romance came after she and Shawn Booth split and called off their engagement in November 2018.

Jason appeared on Becca Kufrin's season of "The Bachelorette."

Milkshake mission

Adam Sandler returns to IHOP to bookend seating saga

Two weeks after he was turned away at IHOP by a hostess who didn't recognize him, Adam Sandler has returned to the breakfast house for a sweet moment.

Gregory Pace/Shutterstock

In late April, the comedian went to an IHOP in Long Island, New York, but left after being told it was a 30 minute wait. The hostess who told Adam about the wait time didn't recognize him until after he left. A video of her interaction with Adam — which the hostess posted to TikTok — went viral.

"For the record, I only left the IHOP because the nice woman told me the all-you-can-eat deal didn't apply to the milkshakes," Adam tweeted afterward, which gave IHOP an idea.

On May 10, the restaurant did an all-you-can-eat milkshake promotion and donated some of the proceeds to Comedy Gives Back.

Upon hearing this, Adam went back to IHOP to meet the viral hostess who started the whole saga. Naturally, she posted several images with the comedy star to her TikTok.

"Couldn't have been more excited!!" she wrote. "Thank you Adam Sandler!"

Adam also shared a photo of his bulldog outside of IHOP under a table full of shakes.

"Thank u IHOP for Milkshake Monday," he captioned the Twitter picture.

Rant remembered

Tom Cruise opens up about his viral COVID rant: 'I said what I said'

Tom Cruise still has no regrets about his viral tirade last year on the set of "Mission: Impossible 7."

In December, The Sun leaked audio of the action star laying into crew members on the set of "Mission: Impossible 7" for violating COVID-19 protocols.

Stephen Lovekin/Shutterstock

"I don't ever want to see it again. Ever! And if you don't do it, you're fired, and I see you do it again, you're [expletive] gone," he screamed. The movie star, who's also a producer on the film, noted how important following mitigation rules was from a financial standpoint.

"You can tell it to the people who are losing their [expletive] homes because our industry is shut down. It's not going to put food on their table or pay for their college education. That's what I sleep with every night," he said. "So I'm sorry. I am beyond your apologies. I have told you, and now I want it, and if you don't do it, you're out."

Now, more than four months after the rant, Tom is sticking to his guns.

"I said what I said," he told Empire. "There was a lot at stake at that point … But it wasn't my entire crew. I had the crew leave the set, and it was just select people."

Filming "never shut down again" after his rant, Tom said. "And here we are, continuing to film."

Like all movies, "Mission: Impossible 7" filming was halted due to the coronavirus pandemic, but it was also one of the first movies to return to production. In the viral tirade, Tom yelled that the set needed to be the "gold standard" of safely filming.

"All those emotions were going through my mind," he recalled of returning to filming. "And for the whole crew to know that we'd started rolling on a movie was just a huge relief … It was very emotional."

The interview comes as Tom is also making news for his protest against the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, the organization that votes on and produces the Golden Globe awards. On May 10, reports said the actor returned his three Golden Globe trophies to call attention to the lack of diversity within the HFPA. He, like many celebrities, is demanding meaningful change.

Conservatorship filing

Colin Farrell, ex file conservatorship for disabled son

Colin Farrell and his ex-girlfriend have filed a conservatorship for their son James, who has been diagnosed with Angelman Syndrome.

Legal documents obtained by The Blast show that the actor and model Kim Bordenave filed a joint petition for a conservatorship over James, which would give them the ability to make medical decisions and care for him after he turns 18 and becomes an adult in September.

Colin and Kim claim that James needs assistance for daily activities, such as getting dressed or making meals.

The ex-couple is lockstep in their request to be able to give medical consent for James, find him proper housing and have access to the teen's confidential records. They claim they need to be able to continue to care for James as if he were a minor.

A note from James' doctor was also included in the filing, and it notes that the boy is nearly incapable of attending a court hearing due to his anxiety levels. Colin, meanwhile, said he's confident that James would want his parents as his conservators if he were able to verbalize it.

Angelman Syndrome causes developmental delays and disabilities and affects the nervous system, according to the Foundation for Angelman Syndrome Therapeutics. Colin has been open about his son's condition.

"I decided, after consulting with James' mother, that I wanted to talk publicly about the pride and joy I had in our son. He has enriched my life, but I don't want to minimize the trials that so many families go through: the fear, consternation, frustration, and pain," Colin once told InStyle. "We share in the smallest victories — the first words at age six or seven, being able to feed oneself at nine and getting the seizures under control. When you're the parent of a child with special needs, it's important to feel that you're not alone."

Romance details

How Ben Affleck laid the groundwork for J.Lo reunion: New details

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez's reportedly rekindled romance began via email and with the power of the pen.

TMZ reported that Ben began emailing Jennifer several months ago while she was in the Dominican Republic filming "Shotgun Wedding." In fact, the report states that the duo has been in contact since early February.

The actor was "loving and longing for Jen" in the emails, TMZ said.

In one of the letters, there was supposedly a reference to J.Lo's love for Ben's writing. There was even a sentence about him being able to "own her heart," the report states. The Oscar-winning actor also spoke on wishing he could be in the Caribbean with Jen.

Throughout the two-month duration of the back-and-forth emails, Ben and Jen never had any physical contact.

Jen, of course, was still engaged to Alex Rodriguez at the time of the correspondence, but their romance was on the rocks. In mid-April, Jen and A-Rod called off their engagement and split up.

Around that same time, Jen wrapped up filming of "Shotgun Wedding" and returned to her Los Angeles home. Ben was quickly seen at her house, but sources maintained that they were just friends. However, their relationship seems to be progressing beyond friendship, as they were seen vacationing together last week in Montana, where Ben owns a home.

Ben and Jen famously dated in the early aughts and got engaged in 2002. "Bennifer" — as they were dubbed by the media and fans — later split in 2004 and called off their engagement.

Onlookers who saw the duo in Montana said they looked very much like a couple.

Interestingly, Ben recently gushed about Jennifer in InStyle Magazine's recent J. Lo cover story.

"She has great talent, but she has also worked very hard for her success, and I'm so happy for her that she seems, at long last, to be getting the credit she deserves," he said.

Another person firmly in the "Bennifer" corner? Ben's BFF Matt Damon.

"I love them both," he told "Today" on Tuesday. "I hope it's true."

John Mulaney splitting with wife after rehab stint

John Mulaney and his wife of six years, Anna Marie Tendler, are pulling the plug on their marriage.

The comedian's rep confirmed the news to Page Six, saying, "John will not have any further comment as he continues to focus on his recovery and getting back to work."

John reportedly asked for a divorce three months ago around the time he left rehab in late February after a 60-day stay.

"I am heartbroken that John has decided to end our marriage," Anna said via a spokesperson. "I wish him support and success as he continues his recovery."

John and Anna reportedly met in the late 2000s at Martha's Vineyard in Massachusetts. They married in July 2014.

"July 5, 2014. On a beautiful and perfect day, I married a beautiful and perfect woman. I wish I could live it over and over again," he captioned a stunning wedding day photo, which was posted to Instagram.

Over the years John gushed about Anna on social media, as well. In 2019, he called Anna "the coolest, kindest, funniest, weirdest, most beautiful, most artistically inspiring person I have ever met."

Last December, just before Christmas, John checked himself into a rehab facility in Pennsylvania for alcohol and cocaine addiction, reports said at the time.

The former "Saturday Night Live" star has spoke of his vices in the past, telling Esquire in 2019 that he began drinking at 13 years old "for attention." He eventually moved into harder drugs.

"I never liked smoking pot. Then I tried cocaine, and I loved it," he said. "I wasn't a good athlete, so maybe it was some young male thing of This is the physical feat I can do. Three Vicodin and a tequila and I'm still standing. Who's the athlete now?"

In his 2012 Comedy Central special "New In Town," John spoke more about his addictions.

"I don't drink. I used to drink, then I drank too much, and I had to stop," he said. "That surprises a lot of audiences, because I don't look like someone who used to do anything."

J.Lo, Ben Affleck vacation in Montana amid reconciliation rumors

Big rumors are flying in Big Sky Country.

Over the weekend, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck were reportedly spotted together in Montana at the Big Sky Resort near the west entrance to Yellowstone National Park. Additionally, they were reportedly seen driving around together in the area, where Ben owns a home.

The source told TMZ that that duo — once famously dubbed "Beniffer" — looked very much like a couple while in Montana.

The former couple has been linked of late, as Ben's reportedly hung out at Jen's Los Angeles home several times since her split with Alex Rodriguez.

TMZ says Ben and Jen took an SUV together back to her house after they returned home from Montana via a private jet.

A source told People magazine, "[Jennifer] spent several days with Ben out of town. They have a strong connection. It's all been quick and intense, but Jennifer is happy."

Matt Baron/BEI/Shutterstock

Ben and Jen famously dated in the early aughts and got engaged in 2002. They later split in 2004 and called off their engagement. Similarly, Jen was engaged to Alex Rodriguez, but she confirmed in mid-April that they split and ended their engagement.

A source close to Jen and Ben recently denied that anything romantic was occurring, claiming they've been longtime friends.

"They are friends … they've never not been," a source told Page Six last week.

aging look

Brielle Biermann denies plastic surgery speculation

Brielle Biermann's ever-changing looks have nothing to do with plastic surgery, but rather age, she claims.

The 24-year-old appeared on the "Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen" after show on May 9 and denied that she's gone under the knife to enhance her looks.

@briellebiermann/Instagram

"They don't realize that you look different when you're 10 years old to 24. I hope I look… different," she said while claiming viewers think she's had "a lot of plastic surgery."

The reality TV star has admitted to getting lip fillers over the years, but nothing more. Back in 2018, she again denied having plastic surgery.

"My face is fat right now I'm thicker than I usually am can all of u seriously f– off," she wrote on Instagram. "It's my face if I wanna get 37 surgeries on it I will!!"

NBCU Photo Bank/NBCUniversal via

Brielle has spent more than half her life on the screen, making her reality TV debut in 2010 when her mom, Kim Zolciak Biermann, appeared on "The Real Housewives of Atlanta." Her family later got its own reality show called "Don't Be Tardy," which was canceled last week after eight seasons.

"The Biermann family is extremely grateful for their 13-year-plus relationship with Bravo and NBC Universal," Kim said in a statement on behalf of her family. "We greatly appreciate and value the support from all of our fans as we continue to grow in the entertainment industry. In times of significant growth, there are steps that have to be strategically taken, but rest assured, you will see the Biermann family on your TV screens again very soon. Grab yourself a glass of wine and stay tuned."

loving marriage

Catherine Zeta-Jones touches on bond with husband Michael Douglas

Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas have a bond that simply can't be broken.

"There's something that really does connect us — even our handwriting," the actress told Drew Barrymore this week of her husband of 21 years.

Broadimage/REX/Shutterstock

She added, "It's like if we go to restaurants — well, before Covid we used to go to restaurants — and if we were in a big, long [dinner with] family or friends … it could be 20 people or 24 people, we always like to mix. We never like to [sit] next to each other when we go to dinner parties because we want to talk to other people. And so if Michael is down one end of the table and I'm down the other, you can guarantee we are ordering the same appetizer, main course and dessert."

Catherine, 51, and Michael, 76, are about to experience the first major change in their lives in a while.

"Michael and I are just about to become empty nesters, and that term for me is like so cold. What do you mean empty nesters? They are not going anywhere. They are just going off to school," she said.

Clearly, the "Chicago" star is proud of her children: Dylan, 20 and Carys, 18.

"I see what both Michael and I have done — and I'm not bragging — you never know as a parent what you are going to get. The best laid plans, whatever, it's just two people come together and there is a creation and then you guide them," she said.

Paul Zimmerman/REX/Shutterstock

Carys and Dylan, Catherine said, are trying to make names of their own in Hollywood. Michael, though, has told them their famous family name would probably always hang over their heads.

"Their love of the craft of acting is so strong. … They are doing politics and history in school, but their passion is acting," Catherine said. "And they've never done anything professional, but they would like to go into acting. And you know you come from a family where your name is synonymous [with acting] — very much like Michael [was]. [They're] very similar stories where you both had to be 'the kids of.'"

Catherine's path to fame was far different, as she often had to audition for roles.

"But my kids, Michael has said to them what it is like to be 'the daughter of' in the same industry, which I guess is similar if you are in business. If you are successful in business … it's not an easy way in [for your kids]. In fact, one has to prove oneself more. So even with that deterrent, my kids are like, 'No, sorry, we still want to do it,'" the actress said. "And I've had a wonderful life being an actor, and if they get half the joy that I've had, [great]."

She added, "All I want is my kids to be happy and healthy — everything else is a bonus, right? With my children, I tried to instill those qualities the best I could. And [for] both Michael and I, the best, best joy is when we get complimented about our kids' behavior and their manners and how they are just two good, grounded kids."
