David Harbour has secretly slimmed down.
The "Stranger Things" actor revealed he lost weight for his role in the Netflix show, and he detailed how he went about shedding the pounds. It turns out it wasn't that complicated.

"It's just not eating," he joked to Page Six. "It's amazing. You try to do all these different things, the protein and the this and that, and then you just stop eating and you lost weight."
He added, "Putting on weight is my favorite thing. I'm really good at it." The flip side, isn't as fun, though: "It's really s***** to take it off," he said.

It appeared as though David's on-screen alter ego, Sheriff Jim Hopper, died at the end of the third season of "Stranger Things." However, it turns out that he's actually alive in a Russian prison. In order to convince fans that his character had been imprisoned, David lost weight.
"I think you'll see, nutritionally, it's not very good for me, mentally and nutritionally," he told Page Six.
What happens next is unclear. Fans will have to wait until 2022 to watch season 4.
"I can't wait, too. I hope they can wait a little longer. I hope we don't exhaust them with how long it's taking, but yeah, I can't wait too," David said. "It's the best season. It's just such an incredible season, the most epic thing we've ever done. It's huge. It spans different continents and also it still has that tremendous heart. It truly is an extraordinary season, and unfortunately with this d*** pandemic, we've had to wait and wait."
