Denise Richards is clapping back at rumors that she has quit "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," claiming nothing could be further from the truth.

"We were pretty much wrapped actually in December and I was asked to go to two events that we had," Denise told "Extra." "I did not make it to those. That was the extent of me stopping filming. … I did not quit the show. … The only people that said I quit are some of the people on the show, and they never asked if that was true or not."
Speculation regarding Denise's potential exit ran wild after most of her "Housewives" co-stars went on a trip to New York City in January. She also seemingly skipped other filming obligations.
Denise's no-shows came after several cast members felt that she had spoken negatively about them during a previous trip to Rome. During that same trip, the women got into a spat about her alleged affair with former cast member Brandi Glanville — something the "Wild Things" star has denied.

Last month, Kyle Richards spoke about Denise's presence — or lack thereof — on the reality TV show.
"[Denise] stopped, you know, basically showing up. She didn't want to face anything or deal with anything, so she either would bring her husband or disappear," Kyle said. "That was something I really took issue with because I've been on the show for 10 years. There have been so many things have come up that were really, really painful over these 10 years. … When you think about the things that people went through on this show, like, I never knew it was an option not to show up!"
