E! News host Maria Menounos is stepping down from her position at the network after revealing on July 3 that she'd been diagnosed with a brain tumor. The "Dancing With the Stars" alum revealed the news to People magazine amid her mother's battle with stage 4 brain cancer. Maria's tumor, which was removed in June, was not cancerous. Her doctor told her, she said, "there's a six to seven percent chance that we'll see [the tumor] come back, but I'll take those odds any day." Her fiance, Keven Undergaro, has been helping her through everything. "I don't have my balance fully yet but as long as I'm holding on to Keven, I'm sturdy and fine," she told the mag. "My face is still numb. This is something that takes at least a month of healing, but I'm getting stronger and stronger every day and I'll be back to normal very soon." She also said she and Keven want to start a family.

Online war
Things got real with Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna on July 5 after he took to social media to accuse her of cheating, drug use, only being with him to get back at another ex, Tyga, and even lying about how she lost weight after giving birth to daughter Dream last year (he says he paid $100,000 for her plastic surgery procedures). It was explosive! He also posted several graphic naked pictures of her on Instagram (twice!), which were taken down by Instagram (twice!) before the site suspended his account. He then did the same on Twitter (which removed the naked shots too). Rob, suffice it to say, pulled no punches in his profanity-laced posts. He claimed Chyna was sleeping with other men while they were together and can prove it. He said he was putting everything on blast because he was disrespected. Chyna responded with claims Rob had been abusive to her, and her attorney came forward to say they are exploring her legal options. There are reports that Rob could face revenge porn charges for posting the explicit images. It seems this one is not going to end well for anyone.

Broke?
Is former Spice Girl Melanie Brown broke? Her lawyer seems to be claiming she is. On July 3, the Daily Mail reported that Mel B has essentially blown through the $49 million she made during her career thanks to her lavish spending. Her financial woes came to light in court after the singer's estranged husband, Stephen Belafonte, requested nearly $20,000 a month in spousal support on the heels of Mel's divorce filing. Her attorney, Jacalyn Davis, argued that Mel is just about as broke as Stephen. Mel's money woes were "sustained through improvident lifestyle choices," her lawyer told the court, adding, "They never had money at the end of the year to pay their taxes. All their community income was being spent and then some. In this marriage, that would be Miss Brown's income from the Spice Girls." The report detailed that Mel has spent about a million dollars on armored cars and also reportedly bought an island. She also shelled out insane amounts of money on jewelry and pays her staff about $300,000 a year.
Secretly Married!
Surprise, surprise! Plus-size model Tess Holliday is a married woman, and she has been for years. The model took to Instagram on July 5 and dropped the bombshell. "Yes, we got hitched two years ago today… sneaky I know," she wrote alongside a black-and-white image of her hush-hush wedding ceremony in 2015. The image showed Tess and husband Nick Holliday at the altar with just a handful of friends watching from small wooden pews. These friends can clearly keep a secret!
Custody battle
The custody battle between Jesse Williams and his estranged wife, Aryn Drake-Lee, is getting nastier. On July 5, TMZ reported that the actor had filed legal documents in which he claims Aryn is limiting the amount of time he gets with their kids and is essentially not "playing ball" when it comes to his custody requests. He alleges that Aryn only lets him see the children — Sadie, 3, and Maceo, 2 — about three hours a day and that she refuses to allow him sleepovers. He wants a judge to issue a formal custody agreement.

Dixie Chicks frontwoman Natalie Maines filed for divorce from her husband of 17 years, actor Adrian Pasdar, it was reported on July 3. The pair cited "irreconcilable differences" in their paperwork. The couple has two boys, ages 16 and 12, and Natalie is asking for joint custody, TMZ reported. The split is believed to be amicable.

It ain't over
Bill Cosby is headed back to court. Pennsylvania's Montgomery County District Attorney's office announced the news on July 6 in a tweet: "Judge O'Neill sets new Cosby trial date: Nov. 6, 2017."
