Kate Hudson steps out in wig after shaving her head

Kate Hudson shaved her head recently, and now she's wigging out.

The actress shaved her head last week for a new project with Sia, but on July 31 she was seen covering up her freshly shaved head with a long blond wig and hat. Because the color of the faux hair matched Kate's freshly shorn locks, it looked as though she never cut her hair at all.

Sia shocked her 2.7 million Instagram followers when shared an image of Kate's new look last week.

"My girl @Katehudson being a delight on set," she said in an Instagram pic of Kate in the distance.

Kate shared a similar image with the caption, "Freedom," while also using emojis indicating she'd ditched her long locks.

Kate took her new cut out for a spin (literally) this week, too, when she rode dirt bikes with her son and boyfriend Danny Fujikawa.

Kate chopped off her hair for her latest role in "Sister," which is currently in production and was written and directed by Sia. The film is reportedly based off a one-page short story the singer wrote eight years ago. It will also star Maddie Ziegler.

"Dance rehearsal with this bundle of excellence!" Kate captioned a photo of her and Maddie, where it's likely they're hard at work preparing for their roles.

Kate's hair is growing, growing, gone.

How Mariah Carey really feels about Nick Cannon's ever-growing family

Mariah Carey is not kidding around ‚ÄĒ at least not like her ex-husband Nick Cannon.

While Nick continues to increase his family, Mariah isn't exactly keeping a scorecard.

"Mariah doesn't keep up with Nick's babies and baby mamas," a source told Us Weekly. "There's too many to keep up with! She's happy for him and wishes him the best."

Since Nick and Mariah welcomed twins Moroccan and Monroe Cannon on April 30, 2011, he has been busy. On Sept. 15, he shocked the world when he announced that he welcomed a child, his ninth, with Lanisha Cole. The "Masked Singer" host also has two more children on the way. By the end of the year, the "Wild 'n Out" star will have 11 children with six different women.

Nick has praised Mariah, the mother of his eldest children, for years. While on "The Hot Tee Talk Show" in July, he was asked if he would ever consider a reconciliation with the "Hero" singer.

"Of course, that's my fantasy," he said. "That's somebody I will always love. I will never have a love like I had with Mariah."

He added, "If I had the opportunity, if it could be the way that it was, I'm there."

Nick following up with comments by spouting several of Mariah's songs fitting for the conversation, including "Always Be My Baby," "We Belong Together" and "Don't Forget About Us."

This might all be wishful thinking for Nick, as Mariah has been in a relationship with her ex-backup dancer Bryan Tanaka since 2016.

"They're pretty inseparable," Us' source said, adding that "Mariah's not in any rush to get married again."

Billy Eichner: Carrie Underwood blocking me on Twitter was a 'great honor'

Before he tweets! Last year, Carrie Underwood blocked comedian Billy Eichner on Twitter, and he's still laughing about the snub.

In fact, the "Bros" star called it a "great honor."

While recounting the spat on "Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen," Billy said Carrie's social media move came during COVID.

"There was this thing where she, like, during the height of COVID, she retweeted a speech by some Republican guy [Matt Walsh] and said that kids shouldn't have to wear masks in schools," Billy said.

The way the "Billy On The Street" star saw it, Carrie was "letting her political views be known for the first time."

Soon after, Billy made several jokes about Carrie and her views, and "she didn't like that," he claimed.

"It was one of the great thrills of my life," he said of being blocked by the country superstar.

Last year, after realizing he was blocked, Billy tweeted out a screenshot that informed him he's persona non grata on Carrie's Twitter.

"ICONIC," he said at the time.

'Diary of a Wimpy Kid' actor who killed own mom fears being brutalized in prison

Ryan Grantham, the "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" actor who was convicted last week of killing his own mother, is scared he'll become a victim of abuse in prison because on his slight stature.

His lawyer, Chris Johnson, is now arguing that Ryan shouldn't be housed in a maximum security prison, telling TMZ the actor could be "physically, psychologically and sexually intimidated" by hardened criminals.

Although Ryan is 24, he has a slim stature, weighing about 100 lbs and standing 5'2". The lawyer feels that age, size and mental state should all be considered for prison housing. He's currently pushing for Ryan to end up in a medium security prison, and the judge in Ryan's case also called for same housing. However, TMZ points out that that decision is actually up to corrections officials, not judges or attorneys.

Six months ago, Ryan pleaded guilty to a second-degree murder for the 2020 death of his mom, Barbara Waite. Prosecutors alleged that Ryan shot his mother in the back of the head as she played piano at her home.

"I shot her in the back of the head. In the moments after, she would have known it was me," he said into his GoPro camera after the killing.

The situation could have been worse, too. Prosecutors claim that Ryan had aspirations of assassinating Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, as well. In fact, one day after his mother's death, Ryan loaded his car with guns, ammunition, Molotov cocktails, and directions to the Prime Minister's home. He even wrote about his plans for Trudeau in his dairy.

CBC.ca reported that Ryan thought about carrying out a mass shooting while driving to Trudeau's home. However, he aborted his plans and turned himself into Vancouver police.

Ryan ‚ÄĒ who played Jeffery Augustine in "Riverdale" and Rodney James in "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" ‚ÄĒ will not be eligible for parole for 14 years.¬†

Jealous and fed up with fame: Anthony Bourdain's final texts revealed…

In his final days, Anthony Bourdain was fed up with his fans, his fame and his relationship with actress Asia Argento, a new book claims.

Many of the Anthony's last texts were published in the unauthorized biography titled "Down and Out in Paradise: The Life of Anthony Bourdain," which gives some insight into the famous chef's state of mind.

Evan Agostini/Invision/AP/REX/Shutterstock

"I hate my fans, too. I hate being famous. I hate my job," he apparently wrote to his ex-wife Ottavia Busia-Bourdain. "I am lonely and living in constant uncertainty."

Anthony also seemed to often be at odds with Asia, his girlfriend of two years. The book, written by journalist Charles Leerhsen, claimed the beloved "Parts Unknown" host became "incensed" just five days before his death when he saw photos of the "Land of the Dead" star dancing with a reporter at restaurant. Soon, Anthony got online and searched her name "hundreds of times," which prompted a fight.

"I am okay. I am not spiteful. I am not jealous that you have been with another man. I do not own you. You are free. As I said. As I promised. As I truly meant," he allegedly text Asia one day before his death. He added, "But you were careless. You were reckless with my heart. My life."

Asia supposedly replied, "I can't take this."

Per Page Six, one of Anthony's biggest gripes stemmed from the fact that Asia and the reporter were dancing in Ristorante Camponesch, where he and the actress would frequent together in Rome.

Amidst the fit of jealousy, the actress broke up with Anthony and cited his "possessiveness."

The following day, which was the day of his death, the book says Anthony reached out to Asia.

"Is there anything I can do?" he reportedly asked. She replied, "Stop busting my balls."

"ok," he reportedly wrote back in June 2018. Not long after, Anthony hanged himself in a hotel room in France.

After the death, Asia said many people blamed her. But, in a chat with "DailyMailTV" two months later, she maintained that she's not at fault, even insisting that infidelity ran rampant in the relationship.

"People say I murdered him. They say I killed him. I understand that the world needs to find a reason. I would like to find a reason too. People need to think that he killed himself for something like this. He cheated on me, too. It wasn't a problem for us," she said. "He was a man who traveled 265 days a year. When we saw each other, we took really great pleasure in each other's presence, but we are not children. We are grown-ups."

His greatest victory! John Cena sets incredible world record

John Cena has a choke hold on one of the world's greatest records.

The wrestler-turned-actor has broken the record for most Make-A-Wish Foundation wishes granted with 650, Guinness World Record recently announced. No one else is even remotely close to John's heartwarming record.

In a tweet, Guinness said the "Peacemaker" actor "has over double the amount of wishes granted than anybody else!"

In the past, the 16-time WWE Champion has said he's willing help out the 42-year-old charitable organization with no questions asked.

"If you ever need me for this ever, I don't care what I'm doing, I will drop what I'm doing and be involved because I think that's the coolest thing," John told Reuters after he granted his 500th wish. "I just drop everything. If I can offer a fantastic experience, I'll be first in line to do my part."

Reports claim John granted his first wish in 2002, and Guinness notes that he is Make-A-Wish's most-requested celebrity. After granted his 500th wish in 2015, WWE released a video honoring John.

"I can't say enough about how cool it is to see the kids so happy and the families so happy. I really want to make them feel like it's not just another show, it's truly their day," he said in the video.

Fun with friends

The real reason Jon Hamm did 'Bridesmaids' and why his agents were scrambling

Jon Hamm's role in "Bridesmaids" was legendary, but it turns out that he was only in the film as a favor to a friend. That friend? Kristen Wiig.

In discussing his Ted character in the 2011 film on SiriusXM's "Pop Culture Spotlight with Jessica Shaw," Jon revealed that he signed on without a script, without a financial agreement or without even talking to his agents.

"I did that movie before there was a part, before there was a script, I said 'yes' to it. And [my] agents went, 'Oh, well, s***. How do we, you know, ask for money?' And I was like, 'Don't worry about it. It just, let me let go have fun with friends,'" Jon said.

The "Mad Men" actor and Kristen, who co-wrote the film, have been close for years, having initially struck up a friendship while he hosted "SNL" in 2010. When Kristen asked him to appear in the movie, he couldn't say no.

"We were in a couple sketches together and got along like a house on fire, and she said, 'Will you please be in my movie? Please be in my movie,'" he recalled.

At the time, many of the films stars ‚ÄĒ Melissa McCarthy, Rose Byrne, Rebel Wilson and Ellie Kemper ‚ÄĒ were hardly household names. Jon and Kristen were easily two of the most recognizable faces in the flick.

"You know, nobody knew it was gonna be the global success that it was. But I knew it would be funny. And especially with that cast, I was like, 'Sure, of course. Are you kidding me? Thank you for asking. Of course I'll do that,'" he said. "Mostly I drive [my agents] crazy because I say yes to everything, you know?

"I'm always showing up for people's podcasts or what have you, but that's what I like doing," he continued. "I like engaging with the people that I work with and I've had some tremendous, fun experiences doing that. And things like that turn into other things. And, you know, those are the kinds of things you can't measure."

Prosecutors alleged that Ryan shot his mother in the back of the head as she played piano.

Six months ago, Ryan pleaded guilty to a second-degree murder for the death of his mom, Barbara Waite. On Wednesday, Sept. 21, a judge in British Columbia, Canada, threw the book at him, giving him life behind bars. She called the case "life-shattering."

In fact, one day after his mother's death, Ryan loaded his car with guns, ammunition, Molotov cocktails, and directions to the Prime Minister's home. He even wrote about his plans for Trudeau in his dairy.

Armie Hammer's ex was allegedly leaking stories about him in press

Armie Hammer's estranged wife was allegedly leaking stories to the press in 2020 to sully his name.

Page Six reported that Elizabeth Chambers used a friend's email account to send stories about the actor to various media outlets, one claiming he was getting flirtatious with "Rebecca" costar Lily James.

Lily came out and denied having an affair with Armie.

Citing text messages it's claimed to have seen, Page Six said an October 2020 text from Elizabeth to her friend spoke of an interview Armie did with a magazine. "Oh yes, excerpts from his disaster GQ cover shoot," Elizabeth supposedly text. "We need to get back to commenting and sending tips. This time to the Daily Mail in the sun about Lily James."

In that 2020 Daily Mail story, which published shortly after Armie and his wife of 10 years announced a split, Elizabeth was said to be "devastated," and a source praised her parenting.

"She is an amazing woman. She doesn't deserve this. You couldn't ask for a more stunning devoted wife and she's a great mom to their two little ones," the source said.

The alleged leaked stories occurred several months before Armie went viral for supposedly calling himself a "cannibal."

Armie's ex was also allegedly one of the people to bring the "Call Me By Your Name" star's secret Instagram account to light. Further, the new report claimed Elizabeth worked with the woman behind the House of Effie Instagram account after its owner claimed to have been abused by Armie. Elizabeth's friend asked if Effie was "ok," to which Armie's ex said, "Yes, she's just dramatic. And they're all crazy."

The friend has since had a falling out with Elizabeth but is explaining why she took part.

"[Elizabeth] asked and she was my friend," the pal told Page Six on why she let her use her profiles. "At first it seemed completely harmless as it isn't the main email that I use. Then I saw everything she was writing and saying and I got super uncomfortable and lied to her and said that I needed to change my password cuz [sic] I was hacked."

Armie and Elizabeth tied the knot in 2010 and split 10 years later. They share daughter Harper Grace, 7, and Ford Douglas Armand, 5.

Sleep situation

Christina Ricci's son, 8, still sleeps with her

Mattress matter. Christina Ricci has revealed that she and her 8-year-old son, Freddie, still share a bed.

In a chat with People magazine, the "Yellowjackets" actress said she tried to sleep-train Freddie when he was younger, but she bristled at the idea of letting the young one cry it out while he was in his room. Plus, it became safer for Freddie to share his mom's bed.

"He screamed himself hoarse and started banging his head against the crib railing," she said of the child she shares with ex James Heerdegen.

Interestingly, Christina's 9-month-old daughter, Cleopatra, sleeps soundly in a crib.

"With Cleo, when we decided to try it and see how she would react to it, she just sort of whined for about seven minutes and then laid down, clutched her little unicorn and went to sleep," Christina said. "It was like she was ready and she wanted to do it, and it was right for her."

The 42-year-old Emmy nominee added, "The fact that I can put her down in her crib and she just goes to sleep when my 8-year-old still sleeps with me is amazing."

Christina joins a host of other Hollywood parents who are raising their kids in a somewhat unconventional manner ‚ÄĒIce-T's wife Coco Austin was breastfeeding their daughter until she was 5 years old; "Clueless" star Alicia Silverstone recently acknowledged that her 11-year-old son sleeps in the same bed as her; Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard said their children sleep in their bedroom, but not in their bed.¬†
