Kid Rock can carry on with the circus that is his tour.
The singer has been involved in an ongoing lawsuit against Feld Entertainment, the owners of the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus over the name of his tour. Kid Rock is calling his tour "The Greatest Show on Earth," which has long been the motto of the circus.
The Blast reports that a judge ruled in Kid's favor, allowing him to keep the name of the tour. The judge said Feld failed to clearly establish that Rock's tour would tarnish the "Greatest Show on Earth" name, the website said. Kid Rock also has a song of the same name.
When Feld sued Rock, they claimed the monicker of "The Greatest Show on Earth" belonged to them.
Despite the ruling, Feld is still suing over copyright infringement.
Earlier this month, Rock changed this name of his tour to "The American Rock N Roll Tour." In court documents he said he didn't want the name nor the lawsuit to distract him or his fans from his music.
Either way, Rock is now free to rock on.
