Well, that's one way to use your head.
"Riverdale" star KJ Apa revealed on Instagram that a stunt went awry on the set of his new film "Songbird" and he sustained a head injury, which required stitches.
"I split my head open yesterday…I don't know if you guys can see that but I have two stitches in there, metal stitches," he said in a video posted to social media that showed the staples in his head.
KJ, 23, doesn't say how exactly he was injured in the stunt, but a photo shows him smiling while getting tended to by a medic. The New Zealand-born actor also shared an image of a bloodstained T-shirt, presumably what he was wearing when the accident occurred.
If this were KJ's only injury in July, it would be enough. However, the actor had to have a metal shard removed from his eye just a few weeks ago.
KJ posted a video in which he delicately removed the shard using a cotton tip. He even appeared to get emotional afterward.
