"Martin" actress Tisha Campbell believes she was nearly a victim of human sex trafficking in Texas.
"Don't freak out, but I think I almost got snatched up," she said on Instagram on Jan. 28.

Tisha detailed the strange incident on social media on Friday, indicating she's filming an independent movie in Brownsville, Texas. At one point, the "Little Shop of Horrors" star was looking for a ride, but Ubers and Lyfts aren't prevalent at her location near the border to Mexico. After being given a phone number to call a cab, Tisha said a dirty and "sketchy looking" van pulled up.
Soon after, a man got out of the back seat and told her to get in. She initially thought the man was getting dropped off. The driver also forcefully told her to "get in the car," she said. Tisha refused and used some choice words for the men. Once away from the bizarre situation, she spoke to someone at the front desk (presumably of her hotel) to explain what happened.
The front desk worker, Tisha said, was confused about the phone number and indicated that wasn't the normal phone number for the taxi company.
Tisha acknowledged that she's shaken and convinced that "trafficking" was at play.
"I felt it important for ppl to be aware. I need for EVERYONE to be overly conscious of themselves and their loved ones," she wrote on Instagram. "I am thankful to the production for their concern and their understanding. What's crazy is I went back to the front desk, the guy that gave me the taxi number wasn't there. I asked the woman where he was. She looks at the number and says, 'why would he give you this number? This isn't the normal number.' It was a set up fo real."
