"The Mighty Ducks" star Shaun Weiss is new and improved.
In January, the actor was arrested after police said he broke into a home while high on methamphetamine. The 42-year-old former child star was unrecognizable in his mug shot, which showed him looking frail and disheveled.

Now, thanks to a friend, Shaun has transformed. He's gained weight and is now sober. This week, Shaun even got new teeth.

"Weiss got his permanent uppers installed! Getting closer to a full face of teeth," Drew Gallagher, Shaun's friend, wrote as part of a GoFundMe campaign, which was created last January to help the child actor get treatment.
The dental work was donated by Los Angeles dentist Dr. Gabe Rosenthal.
"Dental is coming along," Drew said last month. "Dr Gabe has been great and a It should only be few more weeks before most of Shaun's dental is finished. Dr Gabe has covered all costs and it's allowed Shaun to use the gofundme funds to pay rent at his sober-living as well as buy some groceries. He's even got an inexpensive laptop so he can access the internet. Still a long road ahead but growing each week!"
In addition to the teeth, Shaun, who famously played goalie Goldberg in Disney's "The Mighty Ducks" in 1992, is now eight months sober.

After Shaun's arrest and mug shot went viral, Drew pledged that he would not abandon his pal.
"[Shaun] is sick, he's mentally ill. He's just sick and everybody gives up on him," Drew told People magazine at the time.
To date, the GoFundMe campaign has raised nearly $14,000 from more than 400 donors.
