Kelis and her children almost fell "off a cliff" in a car accident during a rare California snowstorm over the weekend.
The "Milkshake" rapper posted a video to her Instagram on Sunday, Feb. 26, that showed her car off the side of the road, precariously close to sliding off the mountain.
"So here's the thing," she said while filming a video. "My truck got stuck. It's like hanging off the cliff."
A tow truck can be seen pulling the car to safety as high winds whip around Kelis.
"Praise God the tow truck actually made it. We've been outside for awhile," she said.
The 2000s rapper, 43, noted that she planned to take her children to California's popular Big Bear area to play in the snow, so they had warm clothes in the car. She joked that you should always "look your best" in a blizzard.
"I'm wearing layers to keep warm," she said while showing off her "ridiculous rescue fashion."
"I've got my light on, thank God, because it's pitch black out here," she said of her head lamp. "Silver boots [for] a little reflective action. Things could be worse."
The Grammy nominee urged her followers to "always be prepared" as she was.

Over the weekend, the Los Angeles area got pounded by a winter storm that set snowfall and rainfall records. The National Weather Service said it was one of the strongest storms to ever hit southwest California.
It's not known which of Kelis' children were with her during the incident, as she shares 13-year-old son Knight with ex-husband Nas. She also shares a 7-year-old son and 2-year-old daughter with her late husband Mike Mora, who passed away in 2022 from stomach cancer.
