Jane Doe alleges that within a month,
Soulja Boy began assaulting her. He allegedly kicked her, punched her and made threats on her life. She claims he raped her for the first time in February 2019. He later gave her $1,000 in an apparent act of remorse, though his alleged bad behavior was far from curbed: The threats, assaults and rapes allegedly continued for months with the rapper once telling Jane Doe, "I should have killed you." She claims in her lawsuit that the "Crank That" chart-topper once punched her so hard in the head, she lost consciousness. She later woke in a locked bedroom with no mattress, food or water. She claims that when she later tried to quit, he "locked her in a room for approximately three days against her will with no hot water until she was coerced into not leaving."

Jane Doe has said she believed she was in love with
Soulja Boy as "he continued to manipulate her to stay, despite the repeated physical and verbal assaults, including multiple instances of rape." She details an August 2020 assault during which the rapper allegedly hit her so hard, "she thought she was going to die." She says she regained consciousness while laying on the grass outside his home. She then "ran away from the home." According to her lawsuit, she then moved out of the rapper's home, leaving behind her personal belongings. When she attempted to retrieve them in October 2020, he raped her again, she claims. A second attempt to retrieve her personal belongings several months later allegedly failed when he violently attacked her.

Soulja Boy caused "numerous and serious physical and sexual injuries" causing Jane Doe to "fear for her life," she says. She is seeking "compensatory and punitive damages in excess of seven figures for backpay and tremendous pain and suffering." The rapper, meanwhile, has maintained his innocence over the years, telling TMZ in 2021, "I vehemently and unequivocally deny these allegations." He also vowed that "appropriate legal action" would be taken against the "lies." His rep, meanwhile, told the webloid, "Soulja would never put his hands on a female. He wouldn't beat a woman or put his hands on a woman. … This is non-sense!"
