Robert Herjavec is the friendliest shark in the water.
The "Shark Tank" star is being lauded by one particular family after he rescued them during a boating trip on Lake Joseph in Ontario, Canada. The family who was rescued is quite well known in the area, as the patriarchic, Tom Lawson, is a former pro hockey player.

"Did my good deed for the day!" Robert captioned a video that shows him towing a boat with his jet ski. Robert added, "Saved a fireman dad and the kids when their boat got stranded !!!"
Tom can be heard heard speaking in the video.
"Well we ran out of gas, so Robert Herjavec is driving us back," he says.
The reality TV spoke to People magazine about the Aug. 3 incident, claiming he initially thought they were waving because they were fans of the show.
"I was out jet skiing and I saw a boat drifting with a dad and his three kids, waving their arms frantically," he recalled. "My first thought was they must love Shark Tank, but then I realized they were out of gas and stranded."
The sun was beginning to go down, so Robert knew he had to get the family out of the water quickly.
"They were in an unlit aluminum boat not meant to be out at night," he said. "We found a rope, tied it to the jet ski and I towed them back to their lake house."
He added, "It's funny, the dad is a fireman and said to me he normally rescues people — so now I get to say I rescued a fireman. They were super nice, appreciative and big Shark Tank fans. See, sharks can be nice too!"
