Amid a firestorm of backlash, a medical professional is apologizing after she decided to rattle off a list of plastic surgery procedures she would recommend for "Stranger Things" actress Natalia Dyer.
Bear in mind the actress has not expressed interest in plastic surgery and is not a client of the nurse.
Miranda Wilson went viral after sharing a now-deleted video on TikTok in which she initially praised Natalia, 27, but then created a list of procedures she would perform on the actress. Miranda, a certified aesthetic nurse practitioner injector, first said she would tweak Natalia's jawline and begin "treating those masseters" to "slim" the sides of the Netflix star's face. She would then add "a little bit of chin filler" to "help fill out her chin and make her whole face more heart shaped." She also spoke of adding lip filler, giving Natalia a brow lift and Botox.
Using Photoshop, Miranda then showed a picture of what Natalia would look like, in theory at least.
Fans were flummoxed and wondered why the medical pro would ever publish something about someone who isn't even a client. The video was dubbed "wrong" and "moronic."
After all the backlash, Miranda issued an apology.
"I just wanted to come on here and basically clear the air. I did not mean to offend anyone, including Natalia. I was simply just offering suggestions, not on what you have to do, just on what the possibilities are," she claimed. "As an advanced injector that's what we do. We look at faces, we assess and look at the possibilities. Not on what you need to do, or what you have to do, they're simply just options."
In trying to make her point, Miranda listed off several procedures she's had done.
"Hoping to clear the air that I was not suggesting that Natalia NEEDED any of that work, it was just an example," she noted in her caption. "Of course Natalia is absolutely stunning the way she is…that's why she's so successful. Her photo was simply an example. I'm sorry if people took that as being mean or rude, that was not my intent at all."
