The Latin Billboard Awards honored the best in Latin music in Coral Gables, Florida, on April 27, 2017, and some of the stars of the genre delivered in the style department. The others? Well, let's just say there were plenty of fashion misses in the bunch! First up, Eva Longoria! The star's white pantsuit featured bizarre cutouts and strange faux-sleeves, but it was the oversized, ill-fitting pants that solidified this look as a major miss. Leave it to J.Lo to bring the heat! Jennifer Lopez stunned on the red carpet in this black Julien Macdonald gown covered in geometrical cutouts and featuring a thigh-high center slit. Let's take a closer look at that detailing!

Jennifer Lopez's long-sleeved black gown featured an impressive amount of cutouts in various shapes and sizes that showed plenty of skin — including the star's belly button and hips. Next up? The even more scandalous side view!
From the side, Jennifer Lopez's 2017 Latin Billboard Awards look showed off plenty of skin. The backless dress also featured a large cutout at the hip — a look only J. Lo could pull off on the red carpet. We also loved the way she finished the look with a super-long ponytail!
Merengue superstar Olga Tanon almost won us over with her chic all-black menswear-inspired pantsuit! Though we loved the edgy look, she lost us with her oversized wide-brimmed hat.
One of the best dressed stars of the night? Becky G! The singer-actress donned this beautiful red gown, which featured the illusion of a plunging neckline and a stunning back. See that next!
Becky G's gorgeous red satin gown was completely backless, save for some delicate straps. The star kept her look impeccably glamorous by rocking her dark hair sleek and straight and opting for a pink lip.
What's happening here, Sensato? The rapper accessorized his otherwise simple black long-sleeved shirt and khaki pants with a Gucci belt, a bizarre fur stole and a brimmed hat wrapped in the same fur fabric.
We loved Jackie Cruz's unique take on the LBD! The actress rocked a long-sleeved black gown, complete with a high slit and a plunging neckline. Her curls and fun black heels elevated this look to a new level.
Robo-chic? Model-actress Daniela Botero underwhelmed on the red carpet in this bizarre silver gown, which featured a form-fitting silhouette and strangely placed cutouts. And don't get us started on the back… which we're considering NSFW. We did appreciate her commitment to the futuristic look with the slicked back hairdo though!
A man in a pink suit? Sign us up! Telenovela star Mauricio Henao donned this sexy pale pink suit to the event, paired with a white dress shirt underneath and a crisp white bow tie. The brown dress shoes were also a very nice touch!
Miles of flowers! We weren't fans of telenovela star Scarlet Ortiz's strapless form-fitting gown. The dress was made of a hot pink and red floral print and its mermaid-style silhouette felt more beauty queen than award show worthy.
Sheer gone right! Telemundo host Erika Csiszer donned this stunning sheer sleeveless gown, which featured beautiful white detailing on the overlay, a plunging neckline and a pretty train.
A whole lot of gold! News personality Mariana Atencio hit the red carpet in this disastrous gold gown. Mariana's shiny gold mermaid-style dress featured an excessive amount of crystal embellishments, and her jewelry and accessory selection didn't help her case. She selected mismatched bright blue chandelier earrings and a red clutch.
We loved actress Angelica Celaya's black-and-white strapless ballgown. The printed dress was complemented by her glam waves and red lip, adding up to one big fashion hit!
Telenovela icon Kate de Castillo arrived in this mess of a black-and-blue frock. The strapless dress included a one-sided, excessive cape-like feature, which draped over her left shoulder and ended in a dramatic train. And though we did like the slit that gave a peek of her strappy heels, overall, the Latin superstar scored a miss.
Accessories gone wrong! Singer Mirella Cesa wore this cute red two-piece ensemble, which was comprised of a strapless crop top and a fitted skirt, but she lost points for accessory overkill. The clunky bracelets and massive necklace took attention away from her fashionable look.
Mexican singer Danna Paola went for a sheer effect at the Latin Billboard Awards, and her distracting undergarments unintentionally stole the show. The light layer she wore underneath took away from the beautiful long-sleeved floral overlay and ruined the whole look.
Mariana Rodriguez seemed to be channeling everyone's favorite mermaid at the Latin Billboard Awards — Ariel! The host opted for a sleek, form-fitting green gown and chose to wear her red hair loose and wavy for a look fit for a Disney princess.
Andrea Minski really missed the mark with this asymmetrical nude gown featuring a floral print on the bodice and at the base of the dress. The television host's oversized bauble earrings and messy updo cemented this look as a miss.
Luis Fonsi looked very dapper at the Latin Billboard Awards! The musician went with a classic black tux and accessorized with a matching black bow tie for an A+ red carpet look.
Yikes! Salice Rose went with velvet on the red carpet and wasn't able to transition the trendy fall fabric to spring. And the insanely high slit on the Instagram model's crimson long-sleeved gown certainly didn't help matters.
Maybe we shouldn't count out velvet for spring after all! Chiquis Rivera was a prime example of how to wear the fabric on the red carpet this season. The singer and television host opted for a gorgeous midnight blue velvet gown that was only made more sultry with sheer paneling.
Monique "Momo" Gonzalez looked like a walking wardrobe malfunction waiting to happen at the Latin Billboard Awards. The singer's unfortunate wispy gown, which featured waist-high slits on both sides, seemed seconds away from baring a little too much on the red carpet.
Pretty in pink sparkles! Miriam Isa donned this sparkling creation on the red carpet — and we loved the host's pink striped confection.
Ombre is out! We're not quite sure why Alexandra Olavarria resurrected the very dated trend, but her pink and purple disaster of a dress landed her among the misses at the Latin Billboard Awards.

Yunel Cruz's first fashion faux pas? Rocking sunglasses… at night. His second? This ill-fitting printed dress shirt with rolled-up sleeves. He clearly missed the memo that he was red carpet-bound!
