Bethenny Frankel hasn't spoken to her mother, Bernadette Birk, in nearly 10 years, and it appears the silent treatment will continue.
Bernadette tells RadarOnline that she "will never speak to her" daughter again after Bethenny wrote that her childhood was tarnished by "eating disorders, alcoholism, mental illness and violence" in her 2011 autobiography/self-help book, "The Place of Yes."
But Bernadette says Bethenny's claims are untrue.
"Bethanny spread vicious and horrible lies about me simply for publicity," Bernadette told Radar. "Her ratings were down and they soared! I gave her the benefit of the doubt, and I always left the door open for her, but she destroyed it and now that door is shut forever!"
Bernadette went on to say that her daughter is utterly self absorbed.
"She is so vain, and loves herself so much, that if she even got so much as a scratch she would run and get plastic surgery," Bethenny's mother added. "I will never speak to her again."
Speaking to Radar in 2012, it seemed Bethenny feelings were mutual. "She's so desperate, it's really sad," the reality star said. "I will never speak to her again as long as I live."
