Alicia Silverstone is reacting to the death of her 'Clueless' co-star Brittany Murphy in a new interview.
"I always felt connected to her as we shared a very special experience in our lives together," Silverstone told People magazine following the news of Murphy's death, also saying, "I loved working with Brittany. She was so talented, so warm, and so sweet."
"I feel love in my heart for her -- and hope she is at peace. This is truly sad," she noted.
"I'm so saddened to hear this news," Silverstone also reflected.
Silverstone and Murphy co-starred in 1995's 'Clueless,' a modern day update of Jane Austen's classic novel Emma set in Beverly Hills.
