All Brad Pitt wanted to do was support Angelina Jolie at her big "Maleficent" premiere last Wednesday in Los Angeles. Instead, he tussled with a notorious prankster and got the sunglasses knocked off his pretty face in the process. Now, the A-lister is speaking out about his encounter with red-carpet pest Vitalii Sediuk, whose increasingly brazen antics have included climbing under the dress of America Ferrera and hugging the crotches of Bradley Cooper and Leonardo DiCaprio.

"I was at the end of the line signing autographs, when out the corner of my eye I saw someone stage-diving over the barrier at me," Pitt explains to People mag. "I took a step back; this guy had latched onto my lapels. I looked down and the nutter was trying to bury his face in my crotch, so I cracked him twice in the back of the head -- not too hard -- but enough to get his attention, because he did let go. I think he was then just grabbing for a hand hold because the guys were on him, and he reached up and caught my glasses."

Vitalii, 25, was wrestled away by security and quickly arrested. He spent two days in jail before pleading no contest to battery and unlawful activity at an entertainment event and received three years probation and one year of psychiatric counseling.

"I'm a normal guy," he told The Associated Press, insisting that he merely wanted to hug Pitt, not his swimsuit area, since children were present on the red carpet. "I'm not crazy."

Pitt clearly has his doubts.

"I don't mind an exhibitionist," adds the star, whose entire brood attended the premiere. "But if this guy keeps it up he's going to spoil it for the fans who have waited up all night for an autograph or a selfie, because it will make people more wary to approach a crowd. And he should know, if he tries to look up a woman's dress again, he's going to get stomped."
