Hospitalized with extreme morning sickness Dec. 3, the nearly seven months pregnant star, 33, has been ordered to take it easy as she awaits the arrival of her baby girl with Electric Daisy Carnival founder Pasquale Rotella.
On Wednesday, Madison's newly-engaged Playboy founder ex -- set to wed on-again fiancee Crystal Harris -- sent his well wishes for the pregnant star's speedy recovery. "I hope Holly Madison is feeling better after being hospitalized for morning sickness in the late stages of her pregnancy," Hefner, 86, tweeted in a post that has since been deleted, signing his message "Love, Hef."
"When it started happening really late [in my pregnancy] and I was really vomiting a lot during the day, it freaked me out," Madison told Entertainment Tonight this week of the morning sickness that led to her hospitalization. "I was told to go to the doctor and get an IV and everything. So, that was kind of scary to me just because it seemed like something so unusual, something that I hadn't read about. But everything's OK so far, so that's good."
Madison is not the only pregnant celeb to experience complications from extreme morning sickness. Kate Middleton checked into a London hospital Dec. 3, the same day she and husband Prince William announced her pregnancy, to receive treatment for hyperemesis gravidarum, and acute form of morning sickness.
Released three days later, the pregnant royal, 30, assured reporters upon her release that she's feeling "much better." The Duchess of Cambridge plans to recuperate at Kensington Palace.
