A explosive lawsuit was filed against Bobbi Kristina Brown's partner Nick Gordon on June 24 alleging abuse and fraud.
The lawsuit was filed in Georgia's Fulton County Superior Court by a court-appointed conservator. It accuses Nick of assault, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and transferring money from her account into his own without authorization.

The lawsuit paints a picture of Nick as somewhat money-hungry. It alleges that Nick presented himself to be Brown's surrogate "brother" prior to 2012, when Whitney Houston was alive. After Bobbi Kristina inherited Whitney's estate, Nick "assumed the position of Brown's boyfriend," court papers said, and he later "perpetuated the fraud that he had married Brown, though in fact he never did so."
"The misinterpretation that [Nick] was Brown's 'husband' was used to control Brown and limit with whom she could interact," documents said. It also says that Nick "manipulated her bank relationship so he could access her money."
The lawsuit claims there was an incident of abuse, too, wherein Nick allegedly punched her in the face and dragged her by her hair.
Bobbi Kristina was found unresponsive in a bathtub on Jan. 31 and has been incapacitated since. On June 24, she was moved into a hospice.
The lawsuit references the tragedy, too, saying that Bobbi Kristina and Nick had been in an argument before she was found. When she was discovered, her mouth was swollen and a tooth had been knocked out, the documents claim.
"Even after Brown's hospitalization, and while she was in coma, [Nick] accessed Brown's bank account and stole in excess of $11,000," the lawsuit said.
Of the lawsuit the court-appointed attorney, Bedelia Hargrove, said in a statement, "I filed this lawsuit to pursue justice on behalf of Bobbi Kristina Brown. No human being, male or female, should endure what Bobbi Kristina endured."
The statement continued, "Pat Houston and Bobby Brown have done all they can to take care of Bobbi Kristina since this terrible tragedy occurred. I have worked closely with both of them and we all want the very best for Bobbi Kristina. This lawsuit represents our collective efforts to get justice for Bobbi Kristina. We pray that justice will be done for her and that it will be swift."
